    Senior Specialist: Credit and Risk Decision Support

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • Conduct advance analytics and modelling relating to the following business themes within Credit and Risk:
    • Credit Vetting – Monitor and analyse Scorecards, Policy Rules and performance data for integrity concerns and opportunity.
    • Account Management - Manage the monthly account management processes by engaging with external stakeholders (vendors and credit bureaus), and ensure the overall integrity of the data and processes.
    • Working Capital Initiative – Run the monthly collections process for payover to the respective banks. Assist with any ad hoc analysis/reporting required on this initiative and ensure the overall integrity of the data. Engage with external stakeholders (banks) on an ongoing basis.
    • Bad-Debt Forecasting – generate periodic bad-debt forecast based on the input from Finance.
    • Conduct proactive analysis to mitigate credit risk (i.e. segment deep-dives).
    • Recommend credit policy changes based on the insight obtained through advanced analytics. (across the credit life cycle).

    Generate And Maintain Periodic Reports On

    • Credit limits
    • Working Capital Initiatives.
    • Summarizing findings, developing recommendations and presenting analyses to management in a clear, concise, convincing, and actionable format.

    The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

    • Degree/Diploma relating to Programming, Data Management and/or Statistics and/or
    • 3-5 years’ experience in quantitative modelling and analytics and/or
    • 5-10 years’ experience in general credit roles.
    • Hands-on experience across the full value chain of Credit in general (i.e. Vetting, Collections, Account Management, Legal Collections, etc.)
    • Proficiency in Programming using various Statistical Modelling Packages (SAS, Python, R), with an ability to adapt to new methodologies/applications.
    • Working with and querying Big Data (SQL).
    • Extensive knowledge of Credit systems in general.
    • Effective Communication and Report writing.
    • Mentoring Junior Staff Members.

    Aws Network Engineer

    The Network Operations Specialist focuses upon the provision of network operations advice and administration and provides monitoring, operation and management of efficient and effective networks services fulfilling the Vodafone Strategy.The Network Operations Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in monitoring network nodes, executing event/incident management, configuration, escalation, release and deployment and 3rd party management activities, ensuring a high quality, reliable network service is available to our customers.Typically reports to the Network Operations Manager.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Advices and executes administrative activities of network operations including project initiations, system requirements, incident management and cost base management operational excellence, solving problems through development of methods ;
    • Supports the team to deliver activities related to preventive maintenance, PW, acceptance tests ;
    • Conducts activities according to the highest level of operations standards in line with KPIs, (eg making sure planned outages don't exceed the given time limit):;
    • Effectively interacts with colleagues to ensure the availability, performance and scalability of the network systems and to support the achievement of the Network Operations strategy;
    • Performs assigned tasks in line with process, updating internal parterns accordingly and ensures customer SLA delivery, service availability, quality and continuity assurance;
    • Delivers tasks related to Customer Service assurance with focus on high availability, minimum restoration times and customer management;
    • Provides support to maintain solid relations with vendors and partners;
    • Uses administrative experience to plan, schedule, implement and test new services, new features and network expansions;
    • Supports and contributes to the consolidation of the Service Assurance function for IT and Networks, (incidents, problems and change management) for both fixed andmobile;
    • Understands the needs and contributes to ensure actions and escalations are routed/highlighted as necessary, (both internally and/or externally), to achieve service restoration, in case of faults;
    • Performs other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas;

    Aws Devops Engineer

    The IT Deployment Specialist works on the deployment activities for the applications, devices and products which have been developed, testing and ensuring readiness for the operational environment, including overall release management.The IT Deployment Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in the integration and flow of the application/product gained through extensive practical experience and delivers end-to-end application testing, ensuring it is fit-for-purpose and released properly into the production systems.Typically reports to the IT Deployment Manager or Senior IT Deployment Team Leader.

    Job Responsibility

    • Demonstrates a good understanding of procedures and concepts through extensive experience and advices the execution of design and implementation of test plans through the provision of advice and execution of administrative activities;
    • Effectively interacts with colleagues through proper analyses of the business value outcomes and supports the execution of the projects including technology perspective, capability road map and possible scenarios for deployment;
    • Supports the deployment team to deliver activities related, but not limited to generating domain level deployment specifications and test applications by designing, writing and updating test cases and test scripts;
    • Includes overseeing regression, system integration, ad hoc testing and completing defect reports and verifying any fixed issues;
    • Uses communication skills to exchange ideas and information in a concise and logical way to support ensuring relevance of test scripts, 3rd party vendors, project teams and other relevant stakeholders;
    • Demonstrates a good understanding of procedures and concepts through acquired experience, to supervise the process of requirements revision, specifications and technical design in order to ensure smooth quality assurance processes;
    • Supports the team to follow the delivery roadmap, ensuring product is available to the customer in line with KPIs (e.g. on time and to specified standard);
    • Performs other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.


    • Matric and 3 year Qualification, AWS certification is compulsory

    Specialist: Customer Acquisition - Process Mapping

    The Specialist: Customer Aqcuisition will be responsible for effectively managing the implementation of new products, processes and services affecting the customer acquisition process; and effectively manage IT and non-IT projects impacting the Customer Acquisition functional area.

    Responsibilities For This Role Will Include

    • To manage IT and business projects impacting the customer acquisition process
    • To provide strategic input into any projects impacting Customer Acquisition and Credit & Risk
    • To facilitate the resolution of IT support issues affecting Customer Acquisition systems and processes
    • To assist in user acceptance testing of new IT solutions implemented in the Customer Acquisition functional area
    • To generate relevant management reports and to interpret information contained in order to make proactive recommendations to management with regards to business opportunities.
    • Project planning and prioritization in conjunction with central demand.
    • Be the technical owner of 20/20 innovations such as Canvassing – act as credit business partner between sales and external vendors.
    • Customers (Internal and External)
    • To provide guidance to the Business Liaison team to ensure that the proper SDLC and project management methodologies are followed in providing solutions to the functional area.
    • To engage with management within Vodacom and external parties on IT and business projects impacting the customer acquisition process.
    • To manage business relationships with customers and suppliers pertaining matters relating to customer acquisition processes.

    The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

    • Matric essential
    • Relevant degree / diploma in the field of IT or Project Management OR at least 4 years working experience in the telecommunications industry
    • At least 1 year Customer Acquisition experience
    • At least 1 year project management or project administration experience
    • At least 3 years Business Analyst experience
    • Highly competent in working with data (i.e. programming knowledge of SAS/SQL/Python)
    • Knowledge of Customer Acquisition systems and business processes
    • Understanding of technical/IT business solutions
