Description

• Accurately diagnose faults found and reported on a vehicle (trouble shooting).
• Carry out servicing and repairs to vehicles in an efficient manner.
• Conduct servicing according to MAN specifications and service sheet.
• Ensure workshop quality, safety and security procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Report any vehicle faults other than those on the job card Work accurately and timeously to achieve both efficiency and productivity to the required standards.
• Conduct road tests on repaired vehicles as and when needed.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.
• N3 and possess a Diesel Mechanic trade test certificate.

Description

• Provide effective customer contact regarding all aspects on repairs undertaken on customer’s vehicle.
• Ensure prior authorization of repairs/service is obtained & customers’ signature is on the job card.
• Ensure description, customer and vehicle details and confirmation of the payment method are in order.
• Responsible for the intake of customer vehicles through completion of job cards detailing work.
• Manage the 24 hour breakdown service.
• Perform standby duties as per the set schedule.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.
• Technical qualification or a comparable qualification.

• Assemble all electrical components onto the buses.
• Diagnose electrical faults on buses and chassis and take relative actions.
• Report additional faults to Group Leader/Team Leader found in the protocol.
• Ensure assembly safety and security procedures are always adhered to.

• Ensure Engineering Change Request (ECR) Workflow is updated with Logistics input.
• Manage changes according to applicable ECR requirement.
• Ensure purchase orders support pending ECR’s.
• Ensure picking and supply plans are updated in-line with ECR’s.

• Ensure all transactions related to damages and returns from production are processed.
• Monitor and report stock movements between SAP Warehouses.

• Read and analyse Engineering drawings including red lining.
• Create and Implement production and quality templates.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/ Quality control inspector.
