    Programme Administrator - Pretoria

    The duties and responsibilities of the Programme Administrator will include, but not limited to:

    • Provide executive support and administrative assistance to the Technical Support Team and the office of the Branch Head to advance GF AGYW activities;
    • Keep track of the project payments and advise the Technical Specialist and Branch Head timeously should corrective measures be necessary.
    • Prepare letters, memoranda and submissions for activities related to GF AGYW.
    • Develop agendas and collate minutes and decisions of various meetings.
    • Establish technical support office procedures as well as operating systems.
    • Liaise with line function managers within the Care and Support Services Branch as well as with other executive assistants and executive managers.
    • Monitor implementation of strategic and operational documents
    • Manage collation and submission of quarterly reports, annual report and monthly programme reports prepared by the technical support team.
    • Quality assures documents and manage monthly targets and updates of the technical support.
    • The incumbent may be required to manage some projects on behalf of the Technical Lead

    Requirements

    Required qualifications, skills, and experience.

    • NQF Level 6 National Diploma in Public Administration or relevant field.
    • A relevant Bachelor’s Degree will be an added advantage
    • 5 years work experience in an administrative support environment.
    • Proven administrative support experience of a minimum 5 years in programme management, project monitoring and evaluation, the preparation of progress updates and other documents.
    • Experience in education and/or health sector.
    • Experience with donor funded projects and working with provincial and national government departments
    • Knowledge of how donor funding works in the civil society and public sector
    • Programme administration within the education or health sector
    • Stakeholder liaison and office administration
    • Knowledge on HIV, STIs and TB or health promotion issues pertaining to young people in South Africa

    Programme Coordinator - Moretele

    The duties and responsibilities of the Programme Coordinator will include, but not limited to:

    • Performance management on a day-to-day basis, including guidance and support of implementation staff to meet weekly targets in terms of recruitment, enrolment and completion of No Means No (NMN) group-based interventions
    • Managing and tracking of daily staff attendance, leave monitoring and ensuring accurate submission of monthly time sheets by staff
    • Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly planning and microplanning with facilitators to ensure daily activities implemented are geared towards meeting of targets.
    • Developing contingency plans and utilizing problem solving to overcome day to day challenges.
    • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support the smooth implementation of evidence- based group interventions
    • Provide training and mentoring support to ensure capacity is built within the teams
    • Engage with other Imagine partners and stakeholders on an ongoing basis to ensure effective engagement and collaboration regarding layering and provision of services to beneficiaries.

    • Work closely with the M&E team to refine and build on the suite of M&E tools in place so as to ensure the monitoring tools are fit for purpose

    Requirements

    Required qualifications, skills and experience

    • Post Matric Qualification in Social Science/Public Health or related discipline.
    • Experience working in Gender Based Violence Programmes or related field.
    • Experience in training No Means No (NMN) programmes
    • A minimum of 3 years' related work experience in leading direct implementation teams in a target driven programme (specific experience required in implementation planning, logistical support functions, monitoring, and evaluation)
    • Well established community/stakeholder relationship building track record/ability to network and navigate communities.
    • Knowledge of HIV prevention, sexual and reproductive health; HIV Testing Services; Gender Based Violence (GBV) programming; evidence-informed and rights-based programming for survivors of GBV, particularly for adolescent girls and young women.
    • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with experience of web-based data systems
    • Understanding of the NGO sector and knowledge of big donor processes/requirements will be advantageous
    • Excellent communications skills in English and any other South African Language.
    • Driver’s license non-negotiable.

    Linkage Officer

    The duties and responsibilities of the Linkage Officer will include, but not limited to:

    • Establish and manage systems for client referrals to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Organize and lead meetings with DREAMS partners and other relevant organizations.
    • Implement case management strategies and follow up on clients to track progress and ensure proper care.
    • Ensure that community members are aware of available services, and actively promote these services.
    • Use the “Handshake” or “Warm Body” approach to ensure that clients are linked to care and services.
    • Monitor and review registers and referral slips to ensure all clients are logged and their referrals are sent to the data team.
    • Support the Team Leader with partner schedules and ensure that services are delivered efficiently.
    • Track linkage targets, and submit monthly reports to ensure targets are met.
    • Contribute to quality improvement processes by documenting successful linkage practices.
    • Collaborate with data teams and partners to monitor client linkage and data analysis.
    • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on client data to the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team.
    • Actively participate in bi-weekly and monthly review meetings.
    • Plan and participate in demand creation events to raise awareness and close linkage gaps.
    • Meet with key stakeholders to maintain and strengthen relationships

    Requirements

    Required qualifications, skills and experience

    • Degree in Social Work or Nursing.
    • 3-5 years in HIV, counseling, linkage services, and implementing the "Welcome Back" strategy.
    • Strong understanding of HIV care policies, particularly the Universal Test and Treat (UTT) approach and linkage to care.
    • Familiarity with WHO Lives training for GBV survivors.
    • Proficiency in English and any other South African language (e.g., Afrikaans, Xhosa).
    • Work experience in HIV programs and DREAMS program implementation.
    • Understanding of South African public health policies.
    • Solid experience in working with diverse stakeholders.
    • Proven experience with client tracking and home visits.
    • Previous work in NGOs or funded programs is advantageous.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
    • Knowledge of UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets and related HIV strategies.
    • Experience with M&E frameworks.
    • A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

    Programme Officer

    The duties and responsibilities of the Programme Officer will include, but not limited to:

    • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support the smooth implementation of the IMpower/ Stepping Stones programme.
    • Develop a strategy to meet sub-district targets (recruitment, demand creation and demand creation for uptake of services) of the two group-based interventions and utilize and implement quarterly, monthly and weekly planning that is proactive to the attainment of targets
    • Provide continuous quality assessment and improvement strategies for the delivery of IMpower/ Stepping Stones.
    • Support the appointment and supervision of suitable staff to implement IMpower/ Stepping Stones.
    • Provide mentoring support to IMpower/ Stepping Stones Instructors to continuously strengthen the quality of the programme.
    • Ensure that IMpower / Stepping Stones instructors receive debriefing support.
    • Ensure that clear protocols are in place to implement the Network Referral System of IMpower/ Stepping Stones, ensuring that all disclosures are appropriately managed.
    • Facilitate IMpower/ Stepping Stones related trainings and workshops as required.
    • Develop tools to ensure bi-directional referral pathways for successful linkages for DREAMS AGYW to health, education and social support services.
    • Monitor the implementation of SOPs and ensure tracking of the success of the DREAMS layering approach.
    • Work closely with the M&E team to refine and build on the suite of M&E tools in place so as to ensure the monitoring tools are reflective of the IMpower/ Stepping Stones programme.
    • Document challenges, best practices and success stories in the implementation of IMpower/ Stepping Stones.
    • Contribute towards the development of presentations and narrative progress reports that reflect insight, learning, outcomes and impact of IMpower/ IMpower.
    • Actively participate in technical meetings relating to IMpower/ Stepping Stones and the DREAMS programme.
    • Work closely with other NACOSA and NGO teams implementing IMpower/ Stepping Stones, to build a community of practice for IMpower/ Stepping Stones in South Africa.

    Requirements

    Required qualifications, skills and experience

    • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Social Science/Public Health or related discipline.
    • Minimum of 3 years specific HIV prevention related work experience in the health and social development sectors, and preferably in the field of OVC, AGYW and/or survivors of sexual violence
    • Experience in programme planning, implementation, management and M&E
    • Knowledge about: HIV prevention, sexual and reproductive health; HIV Testing Services; GBV programming; evidence-informed and rights-based programming for survivors of GBV, particularly for adolescent girls and young women.
    • Excellent communications skills in English, including the ability to guide implementers on the programme.
    • Must be analytically minded and have excellent writing skills, including the ability to compile insightful and user-friendly reports.
    • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with experience of web-based data systems
    • Must be highly organised, deadline driven and efficient with planning skills and a proactive and positive approach.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment, and to coordinate multiple inputs to tight deadlines, with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
    • Understanding of the NGO sector and knowledge of big donor processes/requirements will be a benefit.
    • Driver's License (Code B) with no endorsements
