    Data Migration Consultant (12 months)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Extracting and validating data from finance systems in preparation for data migration to a new system
    • Ensuring that data is clean and appropriately formatted prior to ingestion into the new system
    • Uploading data, ensuring that all errors are noted, investigated and resolved, prior to reload
    • Performing data reconciling processes both pre and post ingestion, prior to sending out to finance contacts for further reconciliation
    • Recording any issues arising in Devops and ensuring their timely resolution
    • Supporting the Lead Data Migration Consultant in any additional work required to get the entities uploaded successfully and in a timely manner.

    Other Activities

    • Attend regular project workstream team meetings
    • Support other team members with tasks and knowledge, as required
    • Build collaborative working relationships with other teams
    • Ensure any risks and issues are communicated timely to the programme manager.

    Experience

    • Highly experienced in data migration tasks with previous systems implementation experience
    • Highly organised individual, able to prioritise multiple tasks and deliver to deadlines
    • Meticulous attention to detail, quality and accuracy
    • Credible and collaborative, relationship builder
    • MSD and Access Dimensions, as well as SQL experience is highly advantageous

    Actuarial Manager (Capital Manager) - Insurance

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the development and maintenance of actuarial data sources.
    • Identify opportunities for improved data use and more insightful actuarial analysis.
    • Manage quarterly and year-end solvency capital requirements.
    • Produce required QRTs and financial reporting outputs.
    • Develop and embed an effective capital management framework.
    • Provide recommendations on capital optimisation related to reinsurance, investment, and business strategy
    • Lead the calculation of Solvency II risk margins and IFRS17 risk adjustment.

    Other:

    • Mentor and manage team members, ensuring quality work.
    • Automate processes for data preparation, reporting, and visualisation.
    • Support reinsurer requests and maintain professional qualifications.

    You Will Be:

    • Studying towards a Fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) or equivalent actuarial exams.
    • Significant non-life capital modelling experience.
    • Analytical mindset with commercial awareness.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proactive, autonomous, and able to deputize for the Head of Capital.
