    Inland First Mile Agent - Durban

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Liaise with suppliers and prepare transport plans
    • Allocate freight orders and drive process efficiency to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Understand and meet customer requirements
    • Maintain on-time delivery as per customer requirements
    • Identify and address service failures and process gaps
    • Optimize customer experience and intermodal delivery
    • Attend/setup telecoms to address customer concerns
    • Actively engage with customers and intermodal vendors for timely resolution
    • Own and manage finance process and administration
    • Actively prevent service failures and collaborate with stakeholders
    • Understand and work with KPIs to meet targets
    • Drive continuous improvements to remove waste and lower costs
    • Identify root causes of missed targets and implement solutions
    • Perform in a manner consistent with Maersk's values

    Who we are looking for:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the Transportation Industry.
    • Proficiency in stakeholder management, demonstrating the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
    • Strong visibility and reporting skills
    • Strong financial acumen
    • Excellent written and communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and display sense of urgency
    • Ability to build and maintain solid relationships (internal and external)
    • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to identify weak spots and proactively engage in analysis and solutions

    Warehouse Supervisor - Polokwane Pietersburg

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead day-to-day warehouse operations activities, managing inbound and outbound logistics, resource allocation, and order fulfillment to maintain seamless workflows.
    • Maintain the highest standard of customer service by ensuring accurate order processing, on-time deliveries, and prompt resolution of inquiries or issues.
    • Implement robust inventory control measures to maintain accurate stock levels, reduce shrinkage, and minimize discrepancies.
    • Continuously monitor and enhance warehouse productivity metrics, driving a culture of improvement.
    • Optimize warehouse processes to reduce cycle times, elevating operational efficiency and order processing speed.
    • Minimize order lead times by optimizing processing workflows for faster customer delivery.
    • Champion a safety-oriented culture, tracking incidents and injuries to ensure a secure work environment.
    • Analyze and manage order processing costs, implementing strategies to enhance profitability.
    • Track metrics like picking accuracy and safety adherence to optimize employee productivity.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement lean principles and best practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to optimize operations, enhance inventory accuracy, and boost overall warehouse productivity.

    Qualifications:

    • Matric or equivalent
    • Diploma or Advanced Certificates in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)
    • Demonstrated experience in warehouse supervision and management.
    • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
    • Strong problem-solving abilities
    • Expertise in lean principles and process enhancement
    • Familiarity with health, safety, and security protocols
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
