    Key Account Manager Pharma + Healthcare

    Your Role
    The Key Account Manager's main objective is the retention and growth of KN's market share within the assigned key account portfolio in the Pharma and Healthcare Vertical. This entails account management components such as solution based selling, preparation and execution of business reviews, preparation and update of key account plans across all offered service (except Contract Logistics).
    Your Responsibilities

    • Identify your plan of action, goals and objectives for the development of each key account (preferably through an account plan) and align with internal stakeholders Jnb NV, Jnb BD, BU's and overseas colleagues in terms of pursuit
    • Retain and grow the share of vallet of the key customers in terms of:
    • Overall turnover improvement
    • Opportunity development of all Kuehne +Nagel's core services,
    • Engagement of key customers in any of Kuehne + Nagel's new product development efforts
    • Maintain/grow profitability of key customers
    • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
    • Ensure all information related to the key customers is current and accurate in the KN CRM system and that visibility is maintained for the benefit of all stakeholders
    • Conduct regular business reviews where applicable and align with operations on customer’s requirements
    • Identify service issues, initiate corrective action, continuous improvement and ensure issues are resolved timeously in conjunction with internal stakeholders
    • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders

    Your Skills And Experiences.

    • It is preferred if you have Apprenticeship / Vocational Course or Bachelors / First University Degree
    • It is preferred if you have 5 to 10 years of experience in a global, regional or national key account capacity, with proven a record of business development, supply chain management experience and international forwarding and contract logistics knowledge
    • You have proven industry knowledge of different industry verticals, preferably Pharma and Healthcare
    • You have operational experience in one of the core transportation modes being sold
    • You have conducted sales leadership workshops, whiteboard sessions with customers, or process review processes with global customers
    • You have demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels
    • You have moderate level of computer literacy
    • You speak English
