    Project Administrator (12 Month Contract)

    Job description

    Sanlam Collective Investments (South Africa) was established in 1967 as a full Sanlam subsidiary. Sanlam Collective Investments manages funds of about R60 billion on behalf of more than 238 000 investors. Other renowned financial services companies have also partnered with us to offer third party funds. In these cases, the third party funds are distributed and promoted by the respective financial services companies, whereas Sanlam Collective Investments is responsible for the client administration and compliance.

    Position Description

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assists with administrative functions of project – related assignments as well as those administrative functions required in terms of vendor management agreements
    • Perform data integrity audits across multiple systems, using the latest available, official source documents
    • Gather and consolidate information and create reports to measure timeliness of delivery against pre-determined SLA turnaround times
    • Prepare statistical reports
    • Maintain various controls
    • Maintain records and files on various system interfaces
    • Maintain various logs, detailing decisions made, action items, due dates, responsible persons and follow up timeously to provide the latest, up to date logs, to discuss during the meetings
    • Setting up of meetings / coordinating diaries / taking care of catering and stationery requirements

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12 mathematics / accountancy being an advantage
    • 5 to 6 years’ related experience
    • Project Management Qualification (thorough understanding of the structured approach required)

    Minimum Requirements

    • An industry related qualification would be an advantage (with Finance / Accounts)
    • Matric (Maths/ Accounting an advantage)
    • Knowledge of BDA would be an advantage
    • Basic understanding of how to deal with Private Clients preferable
    • 2 - 3 Years’ experience within a financial services industry is essential
