    Enrolled Nurse Chris Hani - Eastern Cape

    Description

    • Chris Hani is looking for One (1) ENs
    • Conduct medical pre-screening of initiates at three months and 4 weeks prior to initiation season. 
    • Conduct Customary Male Initiation bush visits and wound care management.
    • Conduct Pre, and Post-operative care for all clients during initiation.
    • Identify, record and refer all Adverse Event to the line manager.
    • Ensure all source document are available and well utilized by the Roving team.
    • Ensure utilization of PPE materials at CMI site visits.
    • Ensure adherence to Infection Prevention and Control Standards during wound care and follow-up visits.
    • Ensure all follow-up and review of clients are conducted and documented accordingly.

    Senior Data Scientist - Centurion

    Description
    Key Perfomance Areas

    • Technical leadership in the evaluation and analysis of diverse HIV program data within RTC programs, including deep dive analysis of EMR patient data,
    • Triangulation of disparate data sources (both routine and non-routine),
    • Development and strategy of the data analytics portfolio in line with donor and business objectives, and lead peer reviewed publications.
    • Responsible for designing new analytics methodology, strategizing on how to better utilize data within the organization.
    • Support the development of standardised analytic products to support the Funder missions.
    • Support design and development of routine and ad hoc data analytics and information products to support IPs and Funder missions in performance management.
    • Lead, write, perform analysis, and collaborate on research papers.

    Requirements
    Required minimum education

    • Candidates must have a Masters in Public Health, Informatics, Biostatistics, Statistics, Demography or equivalent education and work experience.
    • Strong analytic and quantitative aptitude, including an understanding of data science and informatics.
    • Experience with managing large data projects, including integrating and analysing multiple datasets and developing customized reporting.
    • Have published peer reviewed journal articles
    • Must be computer literate and must be able to use Windows, MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel as well as statistical analytical packages and a knowledge base of data manipulation with R, Python etc.
    • Experience with business intelligence visualisation software like PowerBI, QlikSense, Tableau etc.
    • Experience using messy data to mine relevant insights to improve program performance.

    Required minimum experience

    • At least 5 years of experience in data analytics of public health data, including HIV/AIDS and TB related data.
    • At least 5 years of progressive responsibility in managing teams and projects.
    • Statistical background in witing and publishing manuscripts
    • Experience creating compelling and meaningful visualization and reports displaying programme, health quality and cost information for a wide range of audiences, including health providers, implementers and executive management.

    Desirable education & experience

    • Experience in data analytics and machine learning
    • Experience in and working knowledge of PEPFAR/ USAID and District Health Information Systems and PEPFAR/ USAID reporting systems (DHIS, DATIM and other patient level systems)
    • Demonstrated success in delivering a data science project that impacted program performance.
    • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in mixed-methods data analytics and complex project management.

    Programme Assistant: Amathole

    Description

    • Capture and scan all consent and follow-up forms from Right to Care-supported VMMC sites onto various systems.
    • Ensure data accuracy by identifying data quality errors and communicate these to the relevant stakeholders.
    • Submit / escalate daily error reports to the relevant programme staff.
    • Reach daily data capturing targets as set by the relevant programme staff. Verify the completeness and accuracy of information captured against the source document
    • Conduct initial verification of source documents against error template prior to capturing.
    • Manage individual follow-ups of queried source documents within one week of initial query.    
    • Obtain and report daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly statistics from supported VMMC sites as per agreed deadlines and reporting criteria.
    • Compile and submit standardised and ad-hoc reports to head office.
    • Compile and submit standardised weekly status reports to head office.
    • Review and prepare national VMMC registers for Department of Health quarterly submissions.    
    • Order VMMC-related materials and forms as required by the clinical and data teams.

    Programme Coordinator - Oliver Tambo

    Description

    • Draw up a clear District Clear District Operations/Implementation Plan that aligns allocated Targets to available resources.
    • Create linkages with other HTS Implementing Partners to strengthen referral networks and successful linkages.
    • Participate in DOH DMT meetings and Reviews to analyse Circumcision related indicators and ensure that data generated appears on DHIS.
    • Create Data verification platforms between RTC and its Key Stakeholders.
    • Ensure correct Supply Chain Management systems are in place and complies with RTC SCM policies.

    • Health-related Degree/Diploma in Nursing (General, Community, Psychiatry) and Midwifery, or equivalent and Certificate in HIV Project/Program Management.
    • Two years’ experience in the related Field/Position.

    Pharmacist (Medicines Registration - Pharmacovigilance) - Pretoria

    Description

    Right to Care is currently seeking Pharmacists for Medicines Registration and Pharmacovigilance roles in Pretoria. These professionals will collaborate with the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) to carry out the specified responsibilities:

    Individual Case Safety Reports Management

    • Processing of adverse drug events reports.
    • Clinical case assessment of adverse drug reaction reports and feedback provision to reporters.
    • Signal detection and management.
    • Reporter follow-up and system update.

    Benefit-Risk Assessment

    • Investigate and review medicines safety concerns and prepare review reports for peer review and/or Pharmacovigilance Technical Advisory Committee discussions.

    • Update policy documents in line with international standards to improve and maintain high levels of operational efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Development and maintenance of guiding principles (SOPs, guidelines, policies, etc.) to ensure consistency, efficiency and alignment of PV processes.

    Requirements

    Minimum Qualification and Experience

    • Matric certificate 
    • Appropriate 4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree and registration as a Pharmacist with South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) at NQF level 8 as recognised by SAQA.
    • Proficient in MS Office.
    • A valid Driver’s License
    • Minimum of three (3) to Five (5) years' experience in regulatory.
    • Experience in drafting stakeholder communications and articles.
    • Knowledge and application of the Medicines and Related Substances Act (Act 101 of 1965)
    • Knowledge of quality, safety and efficacy aspects of medicine.

    Desired Qualification and Experience

    • A postgraduate qualification in relevant Pharmacy field
