WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• The technical product owner is responsible for the successful delivery of high-quality products, assisting clients with requirements analysis, project management and support. The technical product owner is responsible for coordinating multiple projects across brands and clients.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSET:

• The position will require someone with at least 3-4 years of experience as a technical product owner/ project manager/ business analyst in the tech industry. A qualification (Certificate, Diploma or Degree) in project management, business analysis or anything related would be to your advantage. Excellent grasp of ticket writing, agile delivery and business analyst processes. Must have experience using Jira for agile delivery.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

DOCUMENT PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS

• The technical product owner is responsible for eliciting requirements from project stakeholders and clearly defining project context deliverables as well as writing comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria.

MANAGE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

• You will work closely with our developers to produce time estimates for project work as well as plan and manage iterations.

MANAGE CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS

• Our technical product owners run professional meetings with product stakeholders, build trusting relationships with clients and manage stakeholder expectations.

MANAGE PRODUCT LIFECYCLE

• You will be required to work with customers in the ongoing enhancement and improvement of the product, provide input into product direction and strategy and manage product support by guiding operational processes as required

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Someone who can work with our clients to identify the customer needs and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfill. You will be responsible for articulating success metrics and rallying a team to turn that vision into a reality. Defining and supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products that meet customer needs will also be critical.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSET:

• 3-4 years in a product management role (Product Owner, Technical PO, Product Manager)
• Business management exposure (business strategy, product strategy, operations etc)
• Proven experience in a leadership role
• Experience in digital product management and or digital product design will be advantageous
• A solid understanding of design thinking, UX and customer experience
• A solid understanding of business aspects - operations, finance and marketing
• General management qualification (Executive management programme/diploma will be advantageous)

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
DEFINE & MANAGE THE DELIVERY OF OVERALL PRODUCT VALUE:

• Define and communicate product vision and strategy
• Define and prioritise product scope and roadmap
• Manage all aspects of the roadmap deliverables
• Act as the customer advocate in the development team articulating users needs.
• Work with the business owner and Product Designer to define what problems to solve
• Articulate valuable market problems

DEFINE & MANAGE THE DELIVERY OF PRODUCT FEATURES AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Gather, manage and prioritize market/customer requirements
• Work closely with the Product Owner to define product features and requirements
• Meditate the needs of the business as requirements change
• Review completed work and check customer satisfaction
• Work with the Product Owner to manage defects, enhancements and any product feedback that has an impact on the product as a whole

DEFINE & MANAGE THE PERIPHERAL, SUPPLEMENTARY AND COMPLEMENTARY REQUIREMENTS:

• Assist in identifying relevant compliance and regulatory requirements
• Assist in identifying the operational environment necessary to manage the product post launch
• Communicate operational, compliance and regulatory requirements to the Product Owner to ensure relevant features are delivered
• Facilitate the activities related to the product launch. This includes the development and/or distribution of customer communications, launch plans, coordinate launch activities, ensure relevant materials and collateral is prepared, etc
• Facilitate setup of all customer experience and operational requirements, training materials, operational and procedural documentation

PROJECT REPORTING:

• Provide reports on project status to stakeholders as required
• Manage blockers and delivery expectations between client and delivery team
• Provide analytics reporting to stakeholders as required; post launch

• A dynamic Product Designer to join our innovative team. It is the Product Designer’s responsibility to take the project from the design processes all the way through to launch of the product, and thereafter the iteration process.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSET:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
PROJECT SCOPING:

• Elicit project requirements from project stakeholders;
• Clearly define project context deliverables and outcomes; and
• Set project success metrics, risks, assumptions and any other related information necessary for the execution of the marketing.

MANAGE DISCOVERY & DESIGN PROCESS:

• Facilitation of discovery workshops internally and with clients and external stakeholders;
• Organise and conduct user research to establish pain points, opportunities and potential customer segments;
• Analyse and synthesise user research for purposes of ideation and definition; and
• Conduct industry and other research for purposes of discovery’
• Analyse and synthesise industrial related research for purposes of ideation and definition;
• Facilitate ideation workshops and concept evaluation;
• Turn concepts into testable wireframes, user stories etc and conduct validation of concepts;
• Work with UX team to prototype concepts and establish designs and to establish the overall user experience;
• Work with the Media Team to establish high-level brand concepts for products and establish go-to-market strategies.

PRODUCT BUILD OVERSIGHT:

• Work closely with Technical Product Owner to ensure product design as established in Discovery & Design process is carried through into the technical build;
• Ensure consistency in UI/UX across the product, together with the brand concept;

PROJECT MANAGEMENT:

• Correspond with the client during the product design journey;
• Keep client informed of all design project activities and deliverables; and
• Build relationships with clients for longevity.

ITERATIVE PRODUCT DESIGN:

• Work with Customer Experience team and Technical Project Manager to ensure product road reflects the needs of the users;
• Help facilitate growth by optimising all parts of the customer experience journey;
• Understand our customers through analysis, research and direct interaction; 
• Establish product feedback strategy to guide enhancement and improvement of the product
• Suggest product enhancements and improvements.
