    Job Summary:

    • We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Packer/ General Assistant. The primary responsibility of the Packer/ General Assistant is to ensure that all products are properly sorted, stacked, packed and prepared according to company guidelines and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Pack according to specifications
    • Ensure that all products are properly labeled and coded for accurate tracking
    • Assist the operator with 
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Perform basic troubleshooting and safely clear jams to ensure optimal performance
    • Inspect products for defects or damage before packaging
    • Assist with inventory management and stock control
    • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
    • Meet productivity goals and deadlines set by the supervisor
    • Communicate effectively with team members, operator and supervisor

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum grade 10 certificate, but a Grade 12 will be an advantage
    • Previous experience in a production environment preferred
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects such as pallet jacks
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
    • Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory
    • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
    • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
    • Must be able to work shifts and overtime

    Senior Quality Technician

    Job Description

    • The Senior Quality Technician, plays a critical role in ensuring that all product performance meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, in line with customer specifications and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, this position supports product development, quality control, assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing processes.

    Key responsibilities:

    Support Product Development Management

    • Track and update the progress of product trial management.
    • Support with trials at customer premises and ensure that key information is documented.
    • Attend product trials daily meetings and provide input.
    • Establish the testing criteria in line with customer product performance requirements.
    • Assist with trial priorities based on project pipeline.
    • Verify the trial information before the creation of the specification book for the trials.
    • Test and analyse material structures for new business development and opportunities.
    • Adhere to continuous improvement guidelines to enhance existing products and support new research.
    • Keep the business updated about the trial performance and milestones achieved weekly against plan.
    • Follow the trial management throughout the trial life cycle at each process.
    • Issuing trial release and certificate of conformances
    • Generate product specifications and declaration of compliance.

    Equipment management

    • Ensure that laboratory and operation testing equipment and tools are calibrated and verified in line with the calibration schedule.
    • Ensure that the service is conducted by the external service provider in line with the service guidelines.
    • Ensure that all equipment and tools are available at the point of use.

    Operation Support

    • Work with in-house manufacturing teams and continuous improvement manager to improve product performance and reduce and eliminate waste.
    • Audit testing requirements as design by development to ensure the required designed tests are done.

    Wet chemistry

    • Ensure availability of testing consumables and consider the shelf life of testing solutions for in-house testing.

    Method development

    • Develop testing methods to improve laboratory efficiencies.
    • Develop testing procedures outlining testing criteria and precautionary measures, including job observation criteria and assessments.

    To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following requirements:

    • Diploma or Degree in Packaging, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing, flexible packaging, or quality roles.
    • Familiarity with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, and trial-to-specification workflows
    • Strong in product trial management, testing, and documentation
    • Proficient in lab testing (including wet chemistry), method development, and technical reporting.
    • Effective in managing equipment calibration and collaborating with cross-functional teams
    • Deep understanding of materials and product testing standards.
    • Knowledge of calibration, product lifecycle trials, and continuous improvement practices.
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and accountable.
    • Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable to dynamic work environments.

    Key Account Manager

    • This role blends account management, new business development, and operational coordination. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships while ensuring that the detail behind every order, quote, and delivery is executed to a high standard. Working closely with internal sales, estimating, production, and logistics, you will ensure that RFQs are submitted accurately and within tight timelines, quotes are followed up, and orders are processed and delivered as expected.

    Key Focus Areas

    • Account Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of key clients, ensuring consistent communication and high service levels
    • New Business Development: Identify and convert new opportunities in line with the company’s strategic sales plan
    • Commercial Control: Ensure accuracy in quoting and pricing, actively follow up on quotations, and provide feedback on lost business
    • Operational Coordination: Align customer requirements with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and on-time delivery
    • Stock Management: Oversee customer stock agreements, maintain agreed levels, and proactively manage ageing stock
    • Issue Resolution: Handle customer queries, complaints, and non-conformances in a structured and professional manner
    • Market Insight: Contribute to understanding customer spend, market trends, and growth opportunities

    Requirements

    • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
    • Experience in the corrugated packaging industry will be a strong advantage
    • Sales related diploma or degree advantageous
    • Must have a valid driver's licence and own transport
    • Knowledge of corrugated markets
    • Commercially astute
    • Highly organised
    • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
