    Job Description

    • Dis-Chem Pharmacies has a position available for a Careline Representative at our Head Office in Midrand. You will be required to Interact with Dis-Chem`s customers and provide them with information to address inquiries regarding products and services.     Casual Front Shop Assistant - The Club Surgical

    Job Description

    Job Description:

    • Restock the merchandise appropriately when needed to ensure maximum sales
    • Ensure delivered stock and/ or stock pulled from the storeroom are stored and packed in the correct space immediately
    • Maintain the stock on the shelves to ensure it has not reached its sell by date and apply FIFO principle
    • Ensure that full ranges of products are on the shelves at all times
    • Facilitate rotation of stock on a regular basis and adhere to The Local Choice Corporate Stores stock control procedures
    • Keep the storeroom organized, neat and tidy
    • Report low stock levels, items that are out of stock, damaged stock and expired stock to management
    • Ensure stock is rotated on a continual, first in first out basis
    • Assist with the cycle counts and general stocktaking
    • Boxes must be flattened after unpacking stock and taken to the designated area. Also they should be checked by the security guard

The key purpose of the position is to manage and operate a profitable, Primary Health Care Clinic that is situated in a pharmacy within the scope of practice of a registered nursing practitioner.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Essential:

    • Grade 12 – Matric
    • Tertiary qualification in General Nursing

    Clinic Receptionist - Plettenberg Bay, Market Square (New Store)

    Job Description

    • Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ in Plettenberg Bay, Market Square has an opportunity available for a Clinic Receptionist to join the team.
    • The main purpose of this role will be to attend to patients on the phone and in person.
    • Coordinate and organize appointments and documentation to facilitate the smooth running of the clinic and support the delivery of quality patient care.

    Job Description:

    • Register patients according to established standards.
    • Assists patients in completing necessary medical forms including medical insurances.
    • Monitor and maintain the clinical equipment, stationery and medication required.
    • Inform patients of clinic procedures and manages patient’s records.
    • Open new patient files according to standard procedures.
    • Ensure patient information is correct.
    • Process medical aid payments.

    • Assist walk-in guests in reaching staff for in regards to meetings and/ or deliveries.
    • Provide customers with area codes, work telephone numbers and other relevant information when requested.
    • Ensure customers, guest and callers receive relevant feedback, within good time, regarding queries.
    • Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
