    Planning & Optimisation Specialist - Sandton

    Description

    • Leading and optimizing the demand forecasting processes.
    • Analysing forecast outputs, identifying and evaluating specific constraints and/or opportunities to maximize output and minimize waste.
    • The screening, prioritisation, and recommendation of optimisation opportunities for further development for Enaex Africa.
    • Sustainably maximise Enaex’ s profitability through structured daily, weekly & monthly planning and optimisation.
    • Play a key role in the execution of the value chain S&OP’s including co-ordination across other functions such as Production, Marketing and Sales and Supply Chain by rebalancing and co-ordinating activities to meet S&OP targets. Evaluate the efficiency of the value chain processes.
    • Assist in working capital analysis and Inventory target setting in collaboration with the Production, Finance, Supply Chain and Marketing & Sales.
    • Identify threats and opportunities across the value chain. Co-operate with all functions and optimise working capital, revenue, and costs to support P&L and ROIC for the SBU.
    • Assist in drafting weekly reports as well as the monthly S&OP reports.
    • Advance Accessory planning and optimisation and ensuring adherence to the plan by proactive management of forecasts.
    • A key contact for the Enaex Africa planning team to ensure continuous and uninterrupted supply of key feedstocks.

    Requirements

    • Relevant Bcom Degree or equivalent
    • 3 - 5 Years relevant experience, Supply chain/ Planning & Optimization
    • A   Advanced data analysis, report writing and presentation skills
    • Fluency in English
    • Advanced excel skills

    Explosive Operator - Marikana

    Description

    • Comply with all Customer rules and procedures when operating at Customer sites
    • Assist the Explosives Controller to conduct routine fault finding, trouble shooting, maintenance and repairs on the MMU process plant and chassis
    • Assist the Site Administrator with stock control
    • Load and unload the MMU with the correct raw materials
    • Unload raw materials (emulsion Matrix and Expan tankers)
    • Cleaning and decontamination of MMU.
    • Identification of any abnormal conditions on the MMU and within the work area and reporting thereof to the Explosives Controller and/or Site Supervisor
    • Maintain ownership of bulk explosives MMU by conducting good housekeeping of the cab, chassis and plant.
    • Minimize and clean up any raw material spillage and dispose of any spillage in the correct waste streams
    • Ensure correct PPE is used ; is in good condition and is correctly worn at all times.
    • Housekeeping of work area
    • Identify workplace hazards and associated risks and deal with it appropriately ( Hirac & Risk Assessment)
    • Knowledge of relevant hand tools
    • Knowledge of emergency procedures
    • Comply to the Mine`s safety and health procedures
    • Attend to mines induction training
    • Maintain basic safety, health and environment issues
    • Assess the product application practices
    • Identify incorrect product application practices
    • Demonstrate and coach the correct practices

    Requirements

    • Must have Grade 12 ( Must)
    • 1-2 years’ experience in the mining or similar environment ( Must)

    Additionally (not a must):

    • Possession of a valid code C Driver’s license (Advantageous)
    • Blasting Assistant Certificate (Advantageous)
    • Competency A Certificate (Advantageous)

    KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

    • Working independently.
    • Know safety precautions
    • Communication skills

    Blaster - Open Cast Mining (Marikana)

    Description

    • Identify the correct product application
    • Manage blasting crew at the working area
    • Identify Hazards and complete necessary documentation
    • Complete blast reports
    • Work with mine personnel on safety and quality issues
    • Attend meetings when necessary
    • Oversee charging of holes and blasting of blocks
    • Draw explosive from magazine
    • Transport explosives to blasting area
    • Measure and prime holes
    • Supervise blasting team closing holes
    • Tie up of blast
    • Placing of guards for blasting
    • Inspection of blasted area

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 (Must)
    • National Rock Breaking Certificate for Opencast (Must)
    • Daveytronics knowledge in opencast mining (Advantage)
    • Code 8 or 10 driver’s license (must)
    • 1 - 3 years’ experience of opencast blasting
