    Junior Fire Fighter (Phillipi,Cape Town)

    • Positions exist for the use and application of Firefighters within the Fidelity Group to respond and deal with any and all fire related incidents.
    • The main responsibilities include but are not limited to response of Fire incidents and firefighting, emergency rescue services, rendering basic medical care, fire prevention and training activities, operating and maintaining of firefighting equipment and apparatus and all related work as required in order to protect the lives and property of the clients of the Fidelity Group.  

    Key areas of responsibility: (Not totally inclusive) carries out firefighting activities and emergency operations under guidance, mentorship and supervision of seniors and officer-in-charge by:

    • Ensures compliance with prescribed equipment maintenance schedules and effecting repairs where possible at shift level in order to contribute to ensuring operational readiness and reduction of damage to equipment
    • Complete of all shift related administrative routines specified in departmental policy and orders to ensure efficiency and maintenance of prescribed records/registers under the auspice of the Fire Chief
    • Undertaking supervisory and line functional personnel related functions

    Qualifications, experience and other competencies required:

    • Grade 12 as a minimum school qualification
    • IFSAC Accredited
    • NFPA 1001 Firefighter 2 certification
    • Firefighter II Certification
    • Firefighting training and at least 2 – 3 years related experience are essential
    • Valid code C1 drivers license with PrDP
    • Advanced driving experience advantageous
    • Medically and physically fit
    • Good understanding and practice of Fire prevention procedures
    • Knowledge of Fire-fighting systems (namely systems used to extinguish fires, the classes and chemistry of fire

    Cash Centre Supervisor

    • The above position is vacant at our Sasolburg Branch. The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that all deposits have been processed as per the agreement between parties. The Supervisor makes sure that there is a consistent, high quality counting and verification service provided by all relevant staff.

    Payroll Administrator - Bloemfontein

    • You will also be required to work closely with current Area and Operations Managers.  This position will also report directly to the allocated Payroll Managers.
    • The overall purpose of this position is payroll.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • At least Matric certificate and SAP experience would be an added advantage.
    • Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel is essential.

    • You are to follow up and obtain company numbers for all 102’s booked. An individual booking with an ID number is to have a company number and is to be booked back within 24 hours. Should this not occur you are to escalate the matter to your manager.
    • All 103’s booked on the posting sheets are to have a red line drawn through the open line item/a reason from the employee completing the posting sheet to be stipulated and this to be signed off by the manager concerned.
    • All pay queries are to be attended to and feedback supplied on the day a query has been received. A memo and payroll order number is to be supplied to whom submitted the query
    • Any and all corrections are to be submitted on a valid posting sheet and the posting sheet would be marked as a correction posting sheet.
    • You are to perform daily courtesy calls to the managers and site who supply you with posting sheets.
    • Time books are to be submitted to management for all the employees booking under your sphere of duty.
    • Ensure Route files are to be checked back.
    • Ensuring accurate calculations of rate of pay changes.
    • Ensuring all relevant deductions are submitted and processed, such as 3rd party, Deductions, garnishee orders, maintenance orders.
    • Processing of all leave.
    • Checking and capturing of posting sheets daily.
    • Ensuring all pay related queries are dealt with promptly and feedback is given immediately.

    Marketing Operations Specialist

    Role purpose

    • The Marketing Operations Specialist provides the structure, coordination and administrative discipline required to turn marketing plans into well executed campaigns. The role connects the marketing team, internal departments, agencies and suppliers; manages workflows and deadlines; maintains accurate campaign records; and supports reporting, governance and continuous improvement.     Key responsibilities
    Campaign coordination and implementation

    • Translate approved marketing plans and campaign briefs into clear action plans, timelines, task lists and deliverables.

    Armourer

    • The above position is vacant at our Durban Branch. The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that all Security and CIT officers are equipped with safe and functioning firearms.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Clear criminal record
    • PSIRA accredited at least with Grade C
    • Competed firearm training in handgun and rifle
    • SAPS competency certificate
    • CIT certificate is advantageous
    • 1- 2 years’ experience in security industry or similar role
    • 1-2 years’ experience as an Armourer is advantageous
    • Living in close proximity / Own transport is essential

    • Full responsibility and accountability for all firearms
