    Estate Manager

    ROLE SUMMARY:

    • Reddam House Waterfall is seeking an experienced and proactive Estate Manager to lead the full operations, maintenance, and facilities management of our vibrant school campus. This role is central to ensuring that all buildings, grounds, and infrastructure remain safe, compliant, and conducive to an exceptional educational environment. The Estate Manager will work closely with the Executive Headmaster and Senior Management Team to implement a comprehensive estate strategy, overseeing service teams, external contractors, safety standards, and daily campus operations.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead the day-to-day operations of the school estate, including service staff, maintenance schedules, security, and facility bookings.
    • Ensure all buildings, infrastructure, and grounds are well maintained, secure, and compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements.
    • Hold weekly meetings with school leadership to align on plans, events, and operational needs.
    • Allocate job cards, supervise work progress, and sign off completed tasks.
    • Conduct regular audits of buildings and facilities and maintain records of inspections.
    • Manage all cleaning, repairs, renovations, and outsourced maintenance services.
    • Secure and oversee Service Level Agreements; monitor third-party performance and compliance with OHS requirements.
    • Schedule servicing of equipment, systems, machinery, and vehicles.
    • Act as a secondary contact for armed response and on-site service providers.
    • Support the setup and smooth running of school functions and events.
    • Manage staff performance reviews within the department.
    • Handle all administrative tasks related to estate operations and ensure effective communication with staff.
    • Oversee the school vehicle fleet and ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Additional duties may be assigned as required by Senior Management.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

    • Strong ability to lead, manage, and evaluate a wide range of school support functions.
    • Proven ability to implement operational policies and processes effectively.
    • Excellent planning, organisational, and time-management skills.
    • Experience working within a regulated environment.
    • A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in estate, facilities, property, or operational management.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-leadership skills.
    • Computer literacy and confidence with administrative systems.
    • A university degree or diploma in a relevant field.
    • Technical knowledge relating to infrastructure and grounds management (desirable).

    IT L2 Technician

    ROLE SUMMARY:

    • The South African IT Operations team will form a significant part of the Group as a central hub.
    • The Technical Support Engineers will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of an IT Support Service to selected Inspired Schools in the given regions: Reddam House and Reddford House.
    • We are looking for a competent Technical Support Engineer (Level 2 Support) who will be responsible for finding solutions to the more complex issues, which cannot be solved by the Level 1 Support. He/she will administer a variety of technical projects related to the setup, maintenance, and support of the School's IT Systems. The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for resolving support requests as well as meeting customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery demands.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To take ownership of issues by carrying out a problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes to restore service to the customer as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other Support Teams where necessary.
    • To accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT Service Desk System. To install and configure the new IT equipment. To resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware. To resolve incidents with printers, copiers and scanners.
    • To maintain a first-class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and appropriately.
    • Maintaining customer satisfaction.
    • Exhibit a flexible approach to working rotationally and provide necessary cover where needed.
    • Manage asset registers and data lines.
    • Performing daily/weekly/monthly checks and checking backups.
    • Application configuration and support.
    • To work within the relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
    • To contribute to Inspired Group IT Projects.
    • Organization Responsibilities
    • This position reports to the IT Manager- "region".

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

    • Educated to diploma or certification level
    • Previous experience of working in an IT Support role, preferably 3+ years
    • ITIL experience
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012 or higher, macOS, ChromeOS, Linux, Android, and iOS operating systems as well as various software packages including Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, Google Suite
    • Proficient in Internet-related applications and Networking and network administration experience.
    • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical Colleagues at all levels in the Organization
    • Good interpersonal skills, accountability
    • Experience with (Student) Management Information Systems
    • Experience with CRM System

    College Mathematics / Mathematical Literacy Teacher

    ROLE SUMMARY:

    • Reddam House Atlantic Seaboard is seeking a committed and inspiring College Mathematics / Mathematical Literacy Teacher to join the school from 1 January 2026.
