    Raw Materials Operations Leader

    The Raw Materials Operations Leader will be responsible for leading our Raw Materials Warehouse through efficient stock management and supply of raw materials to our factories in Lesotho according to company requirements.

    The main responsibilities of the role include:

    • Be a key stakeholder in the supply of raw materials to our factories, working closely with the Procurement, Manufacturing and Planning teams.
    • Build and maintain relationships with leadership across the operations teams.
    • Control, oversee and direct the activities across the teams and ensure that functional systems are in place daily. 
    • Investigate and report on all service levels internally from picking through to dispatch.
    • Manage, control and report all health and safety, maintenance and security defects.
    • Ensure that the warehouse equipment is maintained according to the requirements of the company.
    • Lead the team by setting an example, guide and develop team members; anticipate challenges or opportunities and respond to them efficiently.
    • Proactively deal with operational issues, escalating to the Warehouse Leader, where appropriate.
    • Work to tight deadlines in a demanding, high-volume warehouse.
    • Able to work extended hours and available after hours when required.

    The experience we’re looking for:

    • Worked with Warehouse Management Systems, preferably also barcode scanning, picking and packing.
    • 10+ years warehousing experience preferably holding fabric and trims.
    • Proven leadership experience, leading a team of 30 - 50 people.
    • Computer literate using MS Office (including very good Excel), Syspro, WMS and Datascope systems.
    • Knowledge of occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
    • Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport.

    Trims Coordinator

    The Trims Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the timely procurement and delivery of high-quality trims in order to meet bulk production needs and serve our customers brilliantly.

    The main responsibilities of the role include: 

    • Purchasing trims to ensure correct stock levels; counter-sourcing where necessary.
    • Working alongside a variety of local and international suppliers whilst forming/maintaining great relationships.
    • Processing trims orders, managing schedules and deliveries, and communicating lead times to other teams.
    • Having a clear understanding of clearing and forwarding processes, liaising with Suppliers to ensure goods are processed correctly and on time.
    • Managing OTB (open to buy) and ensuring alignment with the budget.
    • Looking after the performance standards for raw materials and approving samples.
    • Ensuring the Approved Master Trims file is kept up to date and neat.
    • Maintaining slow moving/redundant trims list with samples.
    • Maintaining trim price lists with the latest prices.
    • Accurately calculating final trim costs.
    • Involved in the execution of the stock take process, in order to ensure inventory levels are accurately maintained.

    The experience we’re looking for:

    • Proven experience of working in a buying or procurement role in the Textile or Garment Manufacturing Industry.
    • Syspro experience is an added advantage.
    • Highly proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel, Word, and Outlook.
