    Draughtsman and Team leader

    SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO

    • Ensuring alignment of existing drawings in the system to all plant and equipment on site inclusive of PID's, General layout, Design, Electrical, instrumentation and any other drawings required.
    • Maintenance of the existing CAD drawing system and architecture.
    • Decisions making is aligned to the Supervision and Maintenance of the systems, drawings, and architecture of all drawings and records on-site.
    • To liaise with production and engineering personnel on suitable designs and equipment to ensure acceptance of design and the successful implementation of the project on an agreed time frame.
    • Releasing of drawings for construction only upon approval by customer and engineer only.
    • Cost management - Allocation of costs for time spend on drawings as requested by customers as per schedule.
    • Conducts risk assessments for ail solutions that are provided to ensure that standards are maintained, and risk is minimised for staff, equipment, product, and the company.
    • Provides information and participates in formal SHEQ audits.

    Requirements

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • A completed Matric qualification.
    • Preference will be given to candidates who meet the following requirements:
    • National Diploma in an Engineering related qualification, inclusive of a formal Draughting qualification.
    • Project Management qualification.
    • Have worked in supervisory role(s), with specialisation in Engineering project execution.
    • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ practical draughting experience, specifically on the 2D and 3D Auto-CAD package (mechanical, civil, electrical, instruments, site plans and service layouts).

    SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES

    • Computer literate in MS Office and SAP reporting.
    • Communication skills– able to converse at all levels with the organisation.
    • Fully proficient with drawing office standards.
    • Fully proficient in draughting software e.g. AutoCAD and SolidWorks
    • Maintenance of drawing management system (drawing register, drawing numbering system, revisions and transmittals).
    • Must be proficient in compiling drawings related to civil, structural, mechanical, piping, and E&CI.
    • Experience with computerised project management systems.
    • Analytical reporting writing skills.
    • Risk assessment skills.
    • Contractor management skills.
    • Administrative knowledge - able to manage administrative duties effectively
    • Honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
    • Positive attitude and resilient.
    • Able to manage effectively Installation and commissioning and starting-up new installations.

    Foreman: Final Dispatch and Storage - JHB East Rand

    SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO

    • Daily, monthly and quarterly reporting to Treasury and Fabrication Departments.
    • Support the precious metal dealers, Logistics function, FSD and Security personnel.
    • Adhere to regulations as stipulated by the SACAA and EU ACC3.
    • Provide daily accurate stock control reports between SAP and physical stock.
    • Stock balancing and logistic activities.
    • Check stock and enter correct amounts daily onto MS Excel for printing purposes.
    • All shipping documentation clear and meets ACAA and other regulations.
    • Drive timeous and accurate reporting, together with recommended action plans to Plant management studies and projects assigned to the department regarding any and all aspects of the plant operation.
    • Drive projects in order to ensure OEE deliverables, which includes continuous improvement projects to improve OEE indices. 
    • Ensure that GMP (Good manufacturing practices) encompassing food safety (HACCP) and sanitation standards are adhered to.
    • Comply with and ensure that all health and safety rules are met and act pro-actively by addressing any safety concerns which may be harmful to self or other employees. 
    • Physically count of coins and Kruger rands to ensure the amounts are correct.
    • System checks and reports — Check that all documentation received is confirmed on the system,
    • Physically pack all the big bars into relevant boxes, which have been marked and strapped correctly for release and shipment.
    • Accuracy of packing and checking — check the bar numbers, weights, assays, quality and box numbers.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • A completed Matric qualification.
    • A completed Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Finance, or any related qualification.
    • Must have at least acquired 5 years of working experience from Supply Chain/ Logistics Management related positions.

    SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES

    • Computer proficiency — MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint), SAP, SharePoint, Educos and IsoMetrix.

    Financial Administrator (Prestige)

    SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO

    • Provide daily updates of Silver sales and stock working papers.
    • Clearing of incoming USD payments for Silver sales.
    • Issuing of Transfer documents when necessary.
    • Timeously processing of creditors invoices on the system.
    • Daily loading of USD and ZAR payments.
    • Monthly reconciliations of accounts applicable.
    • Month-end and ad hoc journals.
    • Preparation of cash and bank estimates daily in conjunction with treasury operations.
    • Regular processing of invoicing for jewellery, assay, granules, transport, shipping, vault and sundry.
    • Month-end closing by processing backdated payments appropriately.
    • Completion of close-outs from audit findings.
    • Ensure that procedures are reviewed and kept up to date annually.
    • Submission of completed and accurate year end schedules.
    • Daily review of bank accounts for correctness and correct bank balances.
    • Daily completion of cash and bank actuals in line with bank statement entries.

    Requirements

    Minimum requirements

    • A completed Matric qualification.
    • Preference: BCom. Management Accounting holders with at least 2 years’ experience in the Financial Accounting field.

    SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES

    • Advanced computer literacy—SAP and Advanced Excel.
    • Financial and numerical literacy—high levels of accurate and detailed financial ability.
    • Report writing skills—produce accurate and timeous reports for management.
    • People skills - an ability to interact and communicate a high degree of technical knowledge to management and staff. This includes the ability to get the best out of people by engaging with all levels of employees.
    • Negotiate, collaborate and partner with associates.
