    Website Coordinator

    Job purpose:

    The Website Co-Ordinator works within the marketing team and oversees the Website platform

     

    Deliverables & Responsibilities:

    • Monitoring the website, ensuring information is correct and site works at optimal level
    • Responsible for uploading product to the website and doing a final accuracy test and ensuring any errors are addressed before product goes live
    • Being aware of all new launches, competitions and promotions that need to be loaded onto the website, constant communication with Marketing Manager
    • Managing the production of digital content as per the content plan, by utilizing the in-house creative resources, including photography, design & copywriting
    • Overseeing design, usability and development of the website as well as system integrations and population of new information
    • Ensuring Weylandts e-Commerce platform is always at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and design by researching online/E-commerce trending
    • Continually updating and improving Weylandts e-Commerce platforms with developers and third parties.
    • Liaising with, monitoring and improving website SEO/PPC and performance (with guidance from digital agency)
    • Monitoring of MAISON (Hospitality website within the group), updating regularly — advertising campaigns, new wine launches, events page

     

    Experience & Skills:

    • Minimum 3-years experience
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Computer Architecture or Network Design is a plus
    • Content administration skills
    • MS Office
    • Various Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
    • Experience on a Magento e-commerce platform is desirable
    • Customised CMS
    • Strong admin & project management skills
    • Good all-round digital knowledge
    • Knowledge of SEO/PPC/Google analytics a distinct advantage
    • Experience and understanding of retail environment

    Interior Designer - Fixed Term Contract

    Job purpose & Scope:

    This role is responsible for the development of high-level concepts for design projects in conjunction with Senior Studio Designers. It also involves working with internal and external clients. This role will be involved with the occasional presentations to clients, designing floor plans and settings as well as creating project budgets, presentations and programs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Studio designer to create concepts and storyboards for upcoming projects.
    • Take initial client meetings and put together briefs.
    • Development of design and develop it to reality through production of floorplans and internal spatial layouts. Coordinate fabric and finishes presentations; Execute and manage furniture drawings, bespoke product with sufficient technical details for manufacture.
    • Presentation and daily communication to clients.
    • Set up project budgets for hand over to the admin and finance department.
    • Oversee and manage manufacture of furniture, with regular supplier visits.
    • Provide quality control over concepts and projects.
    • On-going research and filtering of trends, building up a database of ideas and solutions that benefit the Weylandts Studio brand.
    • Various visual presentations as requested. This will include designing floor plans and settings, pulling together product and pricing data and working closely with the responsible project manager to ensure professional and accurate presentation material.
    • Responsible for running projects from start to finish as well as oversee and crit the work of the junior designers.

    Technical Experience:

    • A diploma in Interior Design.
    • 5 – 7 years’ experience in commercial and residential interior design.
    • Technical knowledge of design software, e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUP (or similar 3D software) as well as photoshop.
    • Comprehensive MS Office skills.
    • A valid driver’s license and own transport.

    IT Manager

    Job purpose:

    This position will be responsible and accountable for the overall management of ICT systems within the Weylandts Group. Continuously identifying areas of improvement as well as taking responsibility for operational elements within the help desk and support structure.

    The mandate is to ensure information technology adds maximum value to the company by ensuring a reliable and cost-effective platform for the business to leverage.

    Main accountabilities:

    • Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by delivering and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies. Strategic direction and guidance to come from CEO.
    • Ensuring that ICT infrastructure meets business and user needs through blue printing organisational ICT as is status, understanding existing strategic projects and the ICT needs of these projects and future path analysis by identifying and recommending new and effective technologies (hardware and software) and system functionality to the CEO/CFO.
    • SteerCo meetings CFO and CEO on a monthly basis to identify, scope, cost and approve business IT initiatives, and provide updates on in process IT initiatives.
    • Bi-Monthly SteerCo meetings with Business Systems Manager/ Core ERP Applications Manager /CFO to allow a collaborative engagement such that IT Manager understands provision of services and resources into these functions and strategic projects being managed in this regard.
    • Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation.
    • Planning, researching, aggregation and submission of  the ICT budget to Finance Function, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers/ 3rd parties, to ensure cost effectiveness. This will involve sourcing budget inputs from Business Systems Manager / Core ERP Applications Manager in relation to strategic work underway/planned to be executed in those functions.
    • Project managing and scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems. Important is the notification on timing of these, must be in collaboration and agreement with Business Systems Manager/ Core ERP Applications Manager.
    • Determine hardware requirements and manage device profiles for company-wide roles. Manage and Maintain the Computer Hardware Fixed Asset Register at a serial number level. Reporting disposals and additions to Finance Function in a timeous manner.
    • Form part of a team managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems; Disaster planning & management in conjunction with the business systems manager and core ERP Applications Manager.
    • Ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness with regard to service delivery of IT operations and service delivery across Weylandts Head Office, Retail & Distribution Centres
    • Develop and maintain efficient workflows and reporting methods, thinking of ways to improve on turnaround times and service levels. Important to have the reporting ability to have a collective lens of all IT matters.
    • Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems, while ensuring software licensing laws are adhered to.
    • Oversee networking, access control, printing, AV and connectivity at Weylandts Head Office, Retail Stores and Distribution Centres
    • Oversee the delivery of highly responsive desktop support and advise to employees through the Help Desk.
    • IT Services team leadership, mentoring, upskilling and performance management
    • Managing 3rd party vendors appropriately to achieve strategic objectives.
    • Impact analysis and assessment of new systems and system updates to existing architectures, security, and operations
    • Researching and installing new systems / or engaging with and managing 3rd parties to assist as required and creating SLA’s and risk mitigating procedures
    • Ensuring the smooth running of all ICT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision
    • Conducting regular system audits to ensure that on-boarding and off-boarding of staff has been done appropriately across all systems.
    • Providing secure access to the network for remote users
    • Ensuring the security of data from internal and external attack.
    • Develop innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs.
    • Keeping up to date with the latest technologies and delivering appropriate/ relevant technology update to Directors annually

    Technical Experience:

    • Ideally University Degree/ Diploma in IT, Computer Science or Business systems 
    • Minimum 4 years’ experience with good understanding of retail & stock management systems (ideally Syspro but consider SAP or other relevant experience)
    • 3 Years’ experience at a manager level
    • Project management skills
    • Excellent leadership & people management skills
    • Strong administration and budgeting skills
