    Asset Financing Consultant (Kathu/ Postmasburg)

    Job Purpose:

    • To establish and maintain customer and business relationships, render banking-related support services in order to promote and sell vehicle financing and other loan products (secured and unsecured loans) in  Kathu, Postmasburg and surrounding areas.

    Job Outputs:

    • Sales of vehicle financing, loans, related and value-adding products and up-selling & cross selling other iMasFinance products
    • Liaise with members/customers, employer groups, customers and dealerships
    • Conduct customer affordability and repayment ability assessments
    • Analyse customer financial position and recommend solutions
    • Conclude sales deals, process & finalize loan applications
    • Efficient and effective member/customer service delivery
    • Retain and maintain relationships with existing members/customers and stakeholders
    • Establish new member/customer and stakeholder relationships
    • Identify possible risk and communicate to relevant parties

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Matric with Mathematics and/or Accounting (Essential)
    • FSCA Relevant Qualification and Compliance (Essential)

    Chief Financial Officer

    • iMasFinance is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team and take charge of ensuring sound financial practices, compliance with legislation, credit control, funding strategy and optimizing financial stability. If you have a strong background in corporate financial accounting and reporting, developed and implement funding strategies, risk management and leadership, and experience on executive and Board level, this may be a suitable opportunity for you.
    • Preference will be given to candidates from the designated groups, in support of iMasFinance’s transformation strategy.

     Responsibilities:

    As the CFO, you will be responsible for:

    Corporate Strategy:

    • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of the overall corporate strategy.
    • Regularly report to the Board, Committees and ExCo on performance against the strategy.
    • Provide valued input aligned with business needs, ensuring strategy implementation within agreed timelines and costs.

    Regulatory Compliance and Legal:

    • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements set by regulators (e.g., Financial Intelligence Centre, NCR).
    • Implement risk and compliance plans, monitoring programs regularly.
    • Collaborate with auditors and assurance providers to finalize audits, compliance reports, and Integrated Report.

    Leadership:

    • Provide visionary leadership, ensuring execution of the company's vision and strategic objectives.
    • Foster a positive organizational culture and climate.

    People Management:

    • Ensure fair HR practices, manage EE profile and targets, oversee talent retention and succession planning.
    • Manage team performance, development of direct reports, and organizational culture.

    Risk Management:

    • Proactively identify and assess critical organizational risks, implementing remedial action.
    • Oversee enterprise and compliance risk management strategy and execution.
    • Chair the Combined Assurance Forum and report outcomes to the Audit & Risk Committee.

    Stakeholder Relations:

    • Build strong and positive relationships with internal stakeholders, Board members, leadership peers, and service providers.
    • Ensure trusting relationships with open and honest communication.

    Accounting:

    • Ensure effective accounting systems, financial reporting, and compliance with legislation.
    • Compile and integrate budgets, providing strategic guidance to business units.

    Financial Management:

    • Monthly management of cash flow, compilation of annual financial statements, and management of operational ratios.
    • Provide guidelines on business insurance and asset protection.

    Funding (Treasury):

    • Raise funds at affordable rates from capital markets and banks.
    • Manage current structures, investigate new effective structures, and maintain relationships with investors and banks.

    Tax:

    • Maintain organized tax records, ensure compliance with tax requirements, and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
    • Forecast provisional tax submissions and ensure timely and accurate filing of required tax returns.

    Credit Granting:

    • Assess credit applications, oversee credit department performance, and provide ongoing training.
    • Chair the iMasFinance Credit Committee and review the Corporate Credit Policy annually

    Qualifications:

    • CA (Essential / Minimum)
    • Certificate/Diploma in Treasury (Recommended / Desirable)
    • MBA in Business Administration (Recommended / Desirable)

    Professional Status:

    • Fitness for Duty (Essential / Minimum)
    • Certified FAIS Professional (Recommended / Desirable)

    Experience:

    • 10-12 years in operational finance and 5-8 years in financial management (Essential / Minimum) of which at least 5 years must be on senior/executive management level.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of industry, corporate governance, financial services, and insurance landscape.
    • Leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-boundary skills are essential.

    Managing Execurive: Imas Insurance Brokers

    About this position

    • iMasFinance, a financial services Cooperative, is looking for a Managing Executive for its Insurance Broking business. This position reports to the Group Chief Executive Officer (“GCEO”), and is responsible for the strategic direction and execution, as well as operational and financial performance of the iMasFinance Group’s Insurance Business (life insurance and short-term insurance), by developing and executing on current and long-term business strategies.
    • The successful candidate will be an innovative, dynamic and energetic self-starter with seasoned experience on executive level in the insurance brokerage business and management of Insurance product providers.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    Job Outputs:

    Strategic Direction:

    • Strategic direction and positioning of the iMas insurance business.
    • Formulate and implement business strategy, human relations strategy, business plan and strategic objectives.
    • Review and optimize strategy regularly, assess future business needs through sustainability forecast to ensure currency and appropriateness and take corrective action where needed.
    • Selection and management of business associates.
    • Identification and participation in new ventures.
    • Divisional and corporate business plans and budgets compilation and management thereof, contributing towards the execution of corporate
    • Regular reporting to the GCEO and Exco, as well as the iMas Insurance Brokers Board regarding performance against the strategy.

    Compliance and Governance:

    • Driving the overall corporate governance framework.
    • Ensure and drive adherence to corporate governance and principles including codes of conduct (e.g King IV), legislation, statutory requirements, policies and procedure to ensure compliance at all
    • Ensure ongoing maintenance of dialogue with Exco to ensure well considered and informed
    • Support operations of Exco by advising and informing executives and acting as interface between Exco and management.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant Acts and regulations.

    Leadership:

    • Visionary leadership, providing direction and strategic leadership to employees, ensuring execution of the company vision and strategic objectives and achievement of expected results.

    Financial and Operational Performance:

    • Responsible for the sustainable financial growth and management of the company.
    • Drive the creation of sustainable wealth to ensure achievement of strategic targets through sound financial and business practices.
    • Initiate, lead, authorize and drive initiatives aimed at optimizing operations.
    • Drive and control the strategic and operational budgets, goals and standards.

    Risk Management:

    Qualifications:

    • An Honours Degree in Business Management or Financial Management is essential.
    • A Master’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration/MBA or Direct Marketing is recommended.
    • Registration as a Key Individual is recommended.
    • CIMA, CITA, IISA, SAIA or SAICA registration will be an advantage.
    • A valid driving licence is essential.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance (preferably in a broking environment) is essential, of which at least 5 years must be on executive management level.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Functional/Technical:

    • Industry and competitor knowledge, knowledge of corporate governance and relevant legislation impacting on business, corporate financial knowledge, knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in SA's financial services and insurance landscape, networking and influencing skills, advanced business acumen; good communication and interpersonal skills, critical relationship-building, problem-solving and decision- making skills, analytical skills and conceptual thinking skills.

    Managerial/Supervisory:

    • Cross-boundary thinking skills and the skill to drive for results; strategic thinking skills and knowledge of strategic management, knowledge of business management and people management skills, knowledge of contracting and negotiating, skills in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, the ability to develop financial plans and manage resources, the ability to identify unique new business opportunities and improve on alternative revenue lines.

    Leadership:
