    JOB PURPOSE

    Responsible to manage a team enabling Business and Country Heads to provide fit for purpose solutions across multiple locations.     Personal Assistant

    JOB PURPOSE

    To provide end-to-end secretarial support to an Executive(s) by acting as the first point of contact to ensure all administrative requirements are handled within the required timeframes and standards.

    Key Responsibilities
    People

    • Take meeting minutes, where required, obtain sign-off of minutes by the meeting Chair, distribute minutes to all relevant stakeholders and follow-up on key action items.
    • Oversee, with support from People & Culture, the on-boarding and off-boarding of direct reports within the Executive's team to ensure the successful transition of resources as per agreed processes and standards.

    Officer, Legal Administration

    JOB PURPOSE

    Responsible for managing the inflow into legal and non-collection related admin function and to play a supportive role for Home Loans Legal, in terms of general administration.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITES

    • Compliance with statutory, regulatory requirements to protect the reputation of the Group and to avoid legal action/sanctions in respect of regulatory compliance matters.
    • Work the L02 list of new inflow and allocate to the correct vendors evenly.
    • Profiling accounts on L02 to ensure that the account is not under cancellation.
    • Inspection of the client’s history to check for any anomalies before security documents are requested for legal action. Ie Retrieval of the archive statement since inception to see of the bond hasn’t been settled previously.

    • Scrutinize the home owner’s insurance/assurance to see if the customer could qualify for a claim in a case of retrenchment, dreaded disease, etc.
    • Upload of CACS history on SB Legal system for the attorney to prepare a POC.
    • Request Lightstone and Valuations on GAV system and uploading the valuation on SB Legal.

    Head, Strategic Projects Group Technology

    JOB PURPOSE

    To implement and lead the delivery of Strategic Programmes, realising innovation and governance of the Group Technology strategic roadmap, driving the alignment to the GT strategy, engaging stakeholders across geographies within and outside of the Group.
    To lead the end-to-end delivery of the Strategic Programme, overseeing Third party suppliers, proactively mitigating risks and managing financial performance in achievement of the GT strategic road map aligned to the GT Transformation journey

    KEY RESPONSIBILITES

    • Provide strategic vision, operational leadership and direction during the planning and execution of the Strategic Programme and co-ordinate and drive the programme to enable the realisation of Group Technology strategy and achieving programme objectives, in collaboration with programme sponsor.
    • Give input to, and collaborate with Strategy Enablement and Business Architecture, to support and drive alignment to the Group Technology strategy, aligning with Group Architecture design principles, initiatives and create and maintain the Strategic Programme roadmap, analysing dependencies between initiatives driven from Group Technology across the Group ensuring alignment with the achievement of strategic programmes and Group Technology Transformation Journey.
    • Identify, direct and lead overall Strategic Programme execution, focusing on realisation of Group Technology strategic roadmap across the Group defined in Group Technology Transformation journey.
    • Monitor progress of delivery against the roadmap driving out required changes in approach to meet Strategic Programme scope and timeframe expectations and Lead the identification, selection and management of Third party suppliers or vendors that will support the Strategic Programme
    • Build and manage relationships with the country Chief Executive (CE), and CIOs, preparing for the implementation of the Strategic Programme across the Group as well as managin and influencing vendors and Third party suppliers by maintaining a close working relationship and prioritising requirements in order to manage risk and implement financial control over the Strategic Programme implementation.
    • Collaborate with the Group Technology executives and other key partners and participate in the dialogue that results in a common understanding of the Group Technology transform journey, including Strategic Programmes, enabling the Group Technology strategy
    • Lead and guide the relevant Strategic Programme team, assuming end-to-end accountability for the implementation and sustainability of the programme outcomes enabling Group Technology Strategy
    • Provide status and progress reports on the Strategic Programme execution and realisation of strategic objectives as required as input into cross- functional management of information and reporting across Group Technology ensuring adherence to the strategy management toolbox and standards

    • Forecast and secure the budget associated with the scope of the Strategic Programme by performing detailed planning, in partnership with Group Technology Finance, gaining acceptance for revenue and operational budgets

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Post Graduate Degree in Business Commerce & Information Technology.
    • 8-10 years experience in programme management and delivery of large programmes within the global environment. Good working knowledge and established networks in the SBG Technology is essential. Experience working in a multi-vendor and outsourced IT environment.
    • 8-10 years proven experience working with cross-functional teams fostering collaboration and team work. Experience in engaging with a broad spectrum of stakeholders including senior business and technology executives, balancing strategic requirements and delivery constraints. Good understanding of the banking industry and related systems.
    • 8-10 years broad experience in IT development lifecycles and knowledge of the infrastructure and operations of an IT environment, as well as typical run the bank service monitoring functions and change the bank functions. Knowledge of Agile and Lean frameworks, methods and practices and experience in being a catalyst for organisational change.
