    Job Description    

    • Generating Requisition - Ensure that all requisitions for both warehousing and transport are generated timeously, follow through with the approver and procurement – Umbog and PMB
    • Inbound & Outbound Movement - Good receipt from Supplier, returns , outbound movement  
    • Logistics SHEQ requirements - Internal and external audit preparation, request an updated information from 3rd party logistics services providers and keep their SHEQ files updated for auditing purposes.
    • Inventory Controller - Daily cycle count, variance between DCs, receipting error and maintain stock accuracy.

    Job Description    

    • Have a comprehensive knowledge of collectors, depressants, frothers, and preferably flocculants.
    • Apply this understanding to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of metallurgical processes.
    • Have regular interaction with the R&D executive to ensure knowledge is achieved on a high level.

    • Propose and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards.
    • Transfer gained knowledge to the plant for optimizing current reagents manufactured.
    • Contribute to the development of new reagents under the leadership of the R&D Exec to give the company a competitive edge.
    • Advise on reagent improvements and ensuring alignment with company goals.
    • Supply competitor product analyses to the product team for strategic planning.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to inform decision-making processes.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Grade 12
    • Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma - Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering or BSc
    • Registered with SAIMM,MMMA and ECSA
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in metallurgical facility as Supervisory level
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Mineral processing background

    Job Description    

    • Operates the process computer-controlled equipment
    • Oversees maintenance and outside contractor activities in respect to production requirement
    • Participates in and embraces SMI’s Operations Excellence Programme
    • Maintains routine contact with customer personnel regarding quantity and quality needs.

    Job Description    

    • Manage the supply of services to the AECI Corporate Division in order to ensure maximum benefit and value add, in line with the organisation’s needs.
    • Be accountable for the development of relationships with suppliers and management of specific agreements to ensure business requirements are satisfied.
    • Drive and support a consistent approach to the advancement of local procurement and black economic empowerment focus.
