Requirements: 

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Teacher’s qualification.
• A minimum of 2 -3 years appropriate experience in the TVET Sector, Assessor training.
• A valid driver’s license and SACE Registration. Any Mechanical trade test will be an added advantage.  

Duties:

•  Engage in teaching or facilitating as per workload. Assess and record the performance of students.
• Manage a learning programme.
• Develop the policy for the program.
• Co-ordinate evaluation and assessments, homework, assignments, etc of the programme.
• Provide guidance on the latest development on approaches to the programme.
• Provide guidance to in experienced or newly appointed staff members. Monitor and control the work of educators and students in the programme.

Minimum Salary:

• R244 884 – R392 136 per annum, plus 37% in lieu of benefits.

Educational Requirement:

• A National Senior Certificate (Matric);
• National Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• TVET Education Lecturing Qualification.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of zero to two (0-2) year's experience in TVET sector;
• Registered with South African Council for Educators (SACE);
• Moderator and Assessor certificate will be an added advantage;
• Driver's licence will be an added advantage.

Post Description:

• Engineering Technology L2;
• Professional Engineering Practice L2.
