    Store Supervisor - Riverwalk Mall (Potchefstroom) (North West Region)

    Description

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible to coordinate and manage all administrative procedures and systems ensuring a strong internal control environment through the implementation of policies; procedures, Standard Operational Procedures and Self Audit process.

    What you will love doing in this role

    Drive Operational Efficiencies:

    • Plan and execute financial stock takes.
    • Ensure showroom processes (inventory, receiving, and frontline) adhere to legal regulations.
    • Align showroom merchandise with the current product catalogue.
    • Merchandise products according to visual guidelines.
    • Manage showroom productivity across all areas to drive sales.
    • Develop timely action plans to address and resolve deficiencies.

    Stock Management:

    • Ensure efficient stock control processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Oversee stock taking and counts within the store

    Cash Management:

    • Implement efficient cash handling procedures (counting, recounting, reconciling discrepancies, making deposits).
    • Investigate cash shrinkage, counterfeit currency, and discrepancies in safe and bank balances.
    • Reduce cash exposure to prevent robberies and burglaries.
    • Track cash flow between POS and the safe.

    People Management:

    • Provide training on internal controls and educate staff on store risks.
    • Offer coaching and guidance to maximize efficiency and ensure compliance.

    Reporting:

    • Deliver timely reports on the internal control framework and address deficiencies.
    • Health and Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in the store

    Requirements
    What you’ll need to do this role

    • Grade 12/Matric/NQF 4 - Minimum (Required)
    • Min 10 years’ experience in Compliance and Admin Management

    Showroom Manager - Riverwalk Mall (Potchefstroom) (North West Region)

    • The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for the overall management and day to day operations of the homechoice Showroom Retail Space.

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading a team within a sales target driven environment.
    • Experience using MS Office packages.
    • Must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
    • Clear credit and criminal record.

    • We are looking for a passionate and creative Junior Textile Designer to join our design team. This role is ideal for someone who is excited about bringing fresh ideas to life through patterns, prints, and textiles tailored for our diverse and trend-driven customer base. You'll assist in developing original textile designs that align with seasonal trends and support the broader business strategy.

    Requirements
    What you'll need to do this role:

    • Diploma in Textile Design or equivalent qualification.
    • 2–3 years’ experience in textile design, preferably within the bedding or homeware industry.
    • Proven creative flair and artistic ability, with the skill to build a cohesive design story from a single image or concept.
    • Strong eye for colour, texture, fabric, and pattern development.
    • Excellent understanding of current and emerging design trends, materials, and production techniques.
    • Hands-on experience with textile processes and techniques, particularly those relevant to home textiles.
    • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop (Illustrator experience is advantageous, but not essential).
    • Specialisation in floral design will be a distinct advantage.
    • Solid understanding of the screen-printing process, including the ability to adapt watercolor designs by reducing colors for production.
    • Experience in continuous printing, with the ability to put designs into specified repeat sizes.

    Studio Stylist - Homechoice (Southern Suburbs (Cape))

    Description

    • The ideal candidate for this role will style mainly décor shoots but must be open to any challenge including shooting with kids! You will work closely with in-house photographers, the creative team and the merchandise department to create beautiful visuals for both print and digital use and will bring new ideas to the table, incorporate trends whilst staying true to the HomeChoice look and feel.

    What you will love doing in this role

    • Know your way around the prop houses and décor stores in Cape Town.
    • Have good relationships with creative and modelling agencies.
    • Be able to keep within an allocated budget
    • Liaise comfortably with merchandise and creatives
    • Know how to follow a brief
    • Show initiative and demonstrate creativity in generating new ideas for sets / furniture / photography angles
    • Work with Set Building department on set planning & building
    • Manage junior staff/assistants
    • Be able to create mood boards, trend and creative presentations

    Requirements
    What you’ll need to do this role

    • A relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage
    • We need to see a strong portfolio showing your work
    • Be fully computer literate
    • A car to use for prop sourcing
    • The ability to work within a budget, manage a company credit card/reconcile receipts and allocations
    • Mood board and trend folder organising and co ordinating, 
    • Ability to work on traffic software i.e. Planner
    • Manage paint orders & planning, keep stock levels in check
