    Human Resources Business Partner (Midrand)

    Role Description

    • Communicate and implement the strategic objectives as articulated by CHRO to create key focus areas to line managers to meet organisational objectives. Design with line managers the organisation structures of the respective BU’s to ensure that the business objectives are met.
    • Implement and monitor organisation structure processes. Provide guidance and support to management during the design and develop of job descriptions ensuring accuracy and consistency. Quality assure new jobs and ensure that job evaluation is completed within predetermined timelines to ensure that roles are relevant and to manage our Remuneration strategy. 
    • Execute people change enablement plans for any major changes faced in the area including communicating with employees, line managers, in order to embed change initiatives into the organisations, collaborating with the Talent Management Team. Outline risks related to change in order to mitigate correctly.
    •  Participate in the process improvement projects initiated in the business unit or by HR to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of our people. Drive the Performance Management system and process between management and employees to ensure clear understanding of key deliverables. 
    • Embed performance management as a philosophy in the business by supporting managers to coach and mentor and sourcing formal training if required. Advise line managers on the requirements of the discipline, capability and grievance processes and monitor their adherence to it. Source ER advise for complex cases.
    •  Assist line managers with the development of career management plans for critical jobs, collaborating with Talent Management Team. Assist line management to identify "Talent" by analysing performance ratings, personal development plans and participating in career development interviews. Establish and manage Talent Reviews.
    •  Develop detailed annual succession plans with line management for Talent roles and ensure that such plans are updated as required, collaborating with the Talent Management Team. Provide support and guidance to managers during the Performance Improvement Plans (PIP's) process. Participate in regular reviews and advise on plan adjustments where required. 
    • Assist line to complete evaluations within 3 months. Review absenteeism and time keeping information, in collaboration with Payroll & Admin Manager, for the supported business area and raise any potential red flags with the line managers in the area. Develop action plans to mitigate and or manage where required.
    • Meet with line managers and advise them on their manpower planning and track progress on AOP.Determine the tactics for recruitment of each role including which vendors to use for external recruitment once internal processes have been completed. Review applicant CV's for management roles and shortlist for line managers to interview.
    •  Participate in interviews with the recruiting line manager. Assist line manager with the recruitment authorisation process by completing available headcount checks and assisting with the preparation of requests for additional headcount. Plan with line managers Employment Equity and Monitor adherence to plans.
    • Ensure that all pre-employment screening is completed prior to offers of employment being issued for new employees. Review adverse risk assessments and create recommendations to the CHRO to approve or decline. Educate line managers on Liquid Telecom’s the pay strategy during the recruitment process.
    • Issue offers of employment for standard contracts, ensuring that package offered are informed by the approved salary bands. Escalate any non-standard requests to the CHRO for approval. Check offer letters for correctness before sign-off and distribution to the candidates.
    • Monitor effectiveness and contribute to functional induction of new employees and ensure dissemination of relevant HR information. Settled employees into the business area on completion of induction and follow up them after 3 months. In collaboration with the Training team, support, guide and advise line managers to identify training needs in their respective BU’s.
    • Ensure that the training requirements are submitted to the Training Team to support Learning & Development in the organisation.Align personal development plans to individual development needs to support business improvement. Quality check personal development plans on a quarterly basis and provide feedback to line managers on the potential for improvement.
    •  Participate in selected personal development discussions on request from line managers. Reviews gaps in leadership capability across departments within the business and develops action plans in conjunction with the Talent Management Team Together with Talent Management Team measure the effectiveness of training interventions. 
    • Provide support and guidance to the Talent Management Team to adjustments where required. In conjunction with Talent Management Team CHRO deliver strategic OD and Change Management interventions to ensure that the organization is optimally resourced with the best human capital strategies.
    • In conjunction with Talent Management Team deliver culture, climate and employee engagement surveys for the organization to ensure the workforce culture and climate is appropriately measured and initiatives put in place to ensure satisfactory engagement in the organization. 
    • Support with the Project management of OD and Change Management initiatives in order to ensure that projects are designed and delivered on time and within budget. Conduct stakeholder engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all Organizational development within sphere of control are managed appropriately and that adherence to best practice is upheld. 
    • Managing the interface between OD programmes and other organizational initiatives including talent management and BBBEE.Communicate Liquid Telecom’s pay strategy to line managers. Educate line managers on the use of reward tools and monitor the correct use of the tools. support managers to motivate for remuneration and job level changes/corrections/adjustments in line with Remuneration philosophy. 
    • Communicate incentive schemes to relevant line managers and employees to ensure their understanding. Obtain feedback from line managers on the effectiveness of implemented schemes. Communicate payroll policies (e.g. payroll cut-off dates, overtime rates, claims processes) to all new employees and direct existing employees to the HR Payroll for query resolution.ssist line to write motivations for out-of-cycle/interim increases and obtain the required approvals within the SBU before submitting to the Reward team for approval.
    • Updates HR systems with relevant employees’ information. Conducts research and consistently develops and enforces HR procedures and policies.Analyzes and reports on KPIs and trends related to human capital in the business and uses these findings to develop strategies and solutions to issues that affect the business’s employee relations. 
    • Reports on the metrics and recommending necessary adjustments to senior management with a view of enhancing departmental performance.Analyze human resources program activity, conduct performance analyses of the programs, prepare reports and proposals from findings, and present them to senior management for consideration.

    • Minimum 3-year degree (B degree) in Human Resources/ Industrial/ Organizational Psychology:

    Cyber Security Solution Architect (Midrand)

    Architecture with emphasis on pre-sales and proposals

    • Working within the Liquid Sales & Cyber Security team members to create and drive engagements, opportunities, and pipeline. Work with the broader business unit teams when responding to customer requirements and tenders. Understand the processes needed to enable Cyber Security sales, pre-sales, as well as hand-over to Delivery.
    • Work with technical and non-technical business units such as the procurement and commercial teams to sometimes create, package, and present new Cyber Security solutions that address customer requirements. Assist in developing new solutions and services to gain / increase our market share. 
    • Lead competitive learning by market research, evaluating competitor products, programs, weaknesses, strengths and strategies and then educating key internal stakeholders to develop competitive solutions. Assist in conducting customer assessments and result reporting back to customers. Provide thought leadership with regards to solution deployments, best practices, due diligence, migrations or transitions, etc.

    Thought Leadership & Internal Engagement 

    • Maintain up to date understanding of Cyber Security industry trends and technical developments. Work closely with Product Management team to onboard new vendor solutions and to create new solutions and services. Create new proposal templates that can be used by SSS’s in Cyber Security and the Sales teams. 
    • Assist the Cyber Security Delivery teams to understand what they need to do in terms of proposed solution delivery. Assist the Cyber Security Delivery team with basic technical deployment tasks where they don’t have local presence to do so.Ensure that the Cyber Security team members and Sales are enabled to on-sell newly created solutions and services.
    • Cyber Security subject matter expert. Ensure that customer requirements are understood, detailed solutions are designed, and responses are prepared. Understand and apply Cyber Security industry best practices, as well as related methodologies and processes that are needed in support. 
    • Technical and non-technical write-ups aligned to the Cyber Security templates and standards. Speak to or recommend solutions and services in line to customer requirements. Responsible to respond to RFI/RFB/RFP tender requirements. Recommend appropriate architecture standards and implementation of technical Cyber Security solutions. Present the value proposition of Liquid Cyber Security solutions and services to the customers in a consultative manner, including relevant presentations. 
    • Conduct technical and non-technical consultations with customers. Facilitate demand creation workshops and assessments with customers. Provide Cyber Security training to Liquid Cyber Security SSS’s and Key Account Managers (KAM’s). Stay in touch with the latest leading and evolving Cyber Security technology solutions and services. Ensure self-development and that relevant Sales and pre-sales vendor certifications are up to date, also technical vendor certifications where so required.

    Requirements

    • Suitable degree in IT, Engineering, Security or related field and Post-Graduate

    • Must have Cyber Security vendor certifications / qualifications, both technical and pre-sales

    • Must have industry-acknowledged information security or Cyber Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, SABSA, TOGAF

    Senior Specialist: Project Manager(Gauteng&Cape Town

    Role Description

    • Develop, plan and execute according to project schedule and proactively monitor their overall progress, resolving issues, risks, dependencies and assumptions and initiating corrective action as appropriate. Ensure all projects are tracked on necessary project management tools. Coordination of the projects across multiple functional and business domains and manage their interdependencies by building integrated plans, communication plans, risk logs for all projects.
    •  Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals. Assure the participation and commitment of project stakeholders for all related projects which includes resolving any risk, project costs, project changes and other issues that may arise as the project progresses. Effectively manage, communicate and ascertain agreement on the project scope for Projects. Manage changes to the project scope throughput the project lifecycle. Baseline the scope of work to be delivered. Track and manage project requirements during the project lifecycle and incorporate changes to requirements through an established change management process.
    •  Contributes to intellectual property by documenting and logging all project information in the appropriate knowledge base. Developing and implementing the governance framework for all projects which include post implementation review. Ensure all projects are managed and executed as per Liquid Project Management Methodology across all OPCO’s.Develop and utilise templates for Project Management documentation and artefacts.
    • Deliver projects as per the schedule, cost and agreed criteria. Implement software life-cycle methodology. Support and manage the execution of required testing tasks. Accurately identifies and escalates project risks, issues and any unresolved issues via the Project Escalation Channel. Ensure that the delivery of task from the Projects is in line with the strategic objectives of the business. Work closely with the business and in some cases external service providers to deliver against project outputs.
    • Responsible for assembling key stakeholders on the project team. Lead the project team in and act as the liaison between and business by ensuring all outputs from projects are of an excellent quality. Ensure customer satisfaction through post-project debrief with clients. Lead and facilitate steerco meetings. Provide regular updates to all project stakeholders on the progress of the project and provide necessary support to all project stakeholders.
    • Comply with and complete due diligence to ensure that the Change Management processes are adhered to Comply with existing Governance processes and ensure all artefacts and project documents are signed-off and stored for audit purposes. Responsible and accountable to ensure that all projects will pass a Project Audit. Continuously improve on Project Governance processes and ascertain buy-in from Top Management and Business to comply. Provide Weekly status updates, Exco reporting, Report on risks and issues on an ad-hoc [as and when escalations are pending or have been raised. Upload all Project Governance Artefacts to the Central Repository. Provide timeous reports on project plans and progress to management and all internal stakeholders.

    • Relevant industry certification (e.g. PMP, Prince2): Essential
    • Related University degree (e.g. B degree in Commerce or appropriate NQF level qualification): Essential
    • Business Analysis qualification: Desirable
    • 5 years Demonstrated experience in leading project teams; Essential.
