    Student Wellness Advisor (Online Campus)

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Provide individual and/or group counselling (including crisis intervention / debriefing) to students in need of mental health support
    • Acting as a point of contact for all student wellness support and development needs;
    • Point of contact for disability support needs
    • Take on a lead role in student wellness and mental health awareness campaigns and projects
    • Responding to and resolving student queries within the stipulated time frames;
    • Involved in termly orientation per new cohort;
    • Develop and implement mental health outreach initiatives, including workshops, group sessions, and community events, to promote mental health and wellness among students.
    • Tracking and documenting national student wellness support and development metrics;
    • Study plans and career guidance;
    • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators to develop and implement policies and programs that support student well-being and promote a healthy campus environment. Identifying at-risk students and tracking retention;
    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all interactions with students, including progress notes and treatment plans.
    • Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in mental health counselling and wellness promotion.
    • Utilising SACAP’s Student Management System to provide expert guidance to SACAP students.
    • May act as site coordinator to student counsellors completing their practicum / Work Integrated Learning hours.

    QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES

    • A minimum of a degree qualification in the discipline of Counselling, Psychology or Coaching; or at least 5-years’ experience in a cognate field with high academic results
    • Registered Counsellor with HPCSA
    • Advanced computer literacy skills, including online systems
    • 2 years of full-time experience, preferably within the field of Higher Education.
    • Knowledgeable and passionate about SACAP and its offerings
    • Highly developed relationship building / interpersonal skills
    • Excellent written and spoken communication skills

    Learning And Teaching Coordinator (WIL)

    The candidate will be required to perform various functions that would include:

    • Management of all WIL supervisor contracts and invoices.
    • Management and Support of WIL supervisors
    • Manage Supervisor Invoicing and Payments
    • Manage Stakeholder Communication
    • Custodianship of Contracts and MOUs
    • Oversight of WIL Administrative Tasks

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a similar degree
    • At least 3-years of previous experience in program administration or coordination within Higher Education
    • Proven experience in contract management and administration.
    • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
    • Familiarity with relevant industry practices and standards.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.
    • Technologically savvy with strong digital literacy skills

    SKILLS:

    • Strong administrative and organisational skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Great attention to detail
    • Prioritize tasks and allocate time effectively.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
