    Onboarding Administrator - Kolomela

    • The role of Onboarding Administrator provides a range of administrative support to ensure the effective movement of Contractors (new, rehire, terminations, change of personal details) and on-boarding of new contractor employees such as: Ensures that Contractor Manpower Budgets are approved before hiring any SP. Updating Navigator with regard to contractor companies and positions. Ensures that contractor employee upload correct and complete information onto PP360 before submitting to GSS. Ensure data is correctly captured on PP360. General enquiries from contractors via various platforms.

    Job Description:

    As an Onboarding Administrator - Kolomela, you will provide service as required and your responsibilities will include:  

    • Review and process contractor profiles on PP360 and Navigator+ for engagement, termination, etc.
    • Creating NEW contractor companies, positions, and incumbents on Navigator+.
    • Ensure document control by adhering to document control policies and effective retrieval of documents for future reference.
    • Change and/or update contractor employee and company details on Navigator+ and SAP such as marriage certificates, incorrect ID numbers, surnames or names, work permits, etc.
    • Assist contractor walk-ins with PP360 related HR queries at the reception desk.
    • Operate Honeywell and Morpho security system at reception desk
    • Review Contractor Manpower plans on PP360
    • Attend to queries and provide timely feedback to ensure efficient problem resolution and customer satisfaction (walk-ins, Telephonically, TEAMS, etc)
    • Provide assistance in accordance with company policies to the Supervisor and co-workers when instructed or during the absence of the responsible person to ensure achievement of functional objectives

    This role is in the Safety & Sustainable Development (SSD) at a level  A3 Level reporting to the Onboarding Advisor.

    Qualifications:

    • National Diploma or Degree (HR/Safety or related)
    • Driver’s License:  Code B (Light Vehicle) advantageous

    Technical Knowledge:

    • PP360 Client and SP view (advantageous)
    • Navigator+ (advantageous)
    • SAP and Honeywell (advantageous)

    Train Assistant

    Job Description
    As a Train Assistant , you will provide services as required and your responsibilities will include:

    • As a Train Assistant, the incumbent will also be responsible to Assist the loco driver with locomotive duties.
    • Ensure the required wagons are shunted onto the correct rail according to the dispatch schedule and work order to ensure wagon availability.
    • Carry out coupling and uncoupling of wagons for the required freight and according to instruction of the supervisor and Loco Driver.
    • Operate turnout points in accordance with the standard operating procedures before train movement commences to ensure safety.
    • Ensure the safety of train movement through continuous communication (verbal and non-verbal) with the Loco Driver including all related information such as length of wagon chain etc.
    • Conduct inspections of shunting yard, loading area; turnout points and related equipment; report any deviations to supervisor and colleagues to ensure safe environment and equipment at all times as well as equipment availability.
    • Provide team members and supervisors with assistance as and when required and within own area of competence to assist in the achievement of team objectives.
    • Conduct the required safety interventions before undertaking to any tasks
    • Ensure a clear working area, legibility and visibility of safety signs and attend to spillage material to prevent contamination and pollution; keep record of actions taken.
    • Adhere to all health and safety practices requirements and promote good housekeeping to ensure compliance and an environment where team members can deliver their outputs within a controlled risk environment.
    • Active participation in safety initiative i.e SLAM, HPH
    • Assist loco driver with refueling locomotives and take the locomotives to the workshop .

    This role is in th e Processing Distribution Departmen t on a P6 Level reporting to the S upervisor .

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12
    • Valid driver’s license, preferably code 10

    Experience:

    • 1- 3 years experience in Foot plat ( Railway) advantage
    • Relevant Train Assistant (Shunter) experience will serve as a recommendation ( Advantage)

    Explosives Officer

    Job Description
    Your responsibilities for the role will be the following:

    • Explosives and Control systems, objectives, and targets
    • Explosives audit protocols and standards
    • Proceedings regarding the outcome of case investigations
    • Submit reports for the operation to the Explosives Coordinator
    • Independent review of serious incidents and accidents
    • Audits and investigations.
    • Facilitate the effective provision of technical training and coaching to support the elimination of identified barriers regarding explosives management and control,
    • Ensure correct and safe transport, storage, handling and destruction of explosives,
    • Provide training and coaching to explosives receivers and handlers
    • Ensuring the daily destruction of old and excess explosives,
    • Conduct searches for unsecured/abandoned explosives,
    • Conduct explosives related accident/incidents investigation,
    • Ensure statutory compliance

    This position is in the Mining Department at C5 level will be reporting to the Explosives Coordinator

    Qualifications
    Qualifications and experience needed for the role:

    • Grade 12
    • Magazine Master Certificate will be advantageous
    • Certificate/diploma in Explosives management or Blasting Technology
    • Blasting Ticket/Rock Breaker’s certificate of competence or CIE Inspector of Explosives Appointment
    • Any previous CIE experience and training will be advantageous

    To be successful, you will have the following experience:

    • 2 years’ experience in explosives application, management and control
    • Risk Assessment Technique
