- You will be responsible for well-designed work to ensure safe execution of all work;

ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 4 - 6 years maintenance experience of which 1 year is in a supervisory capacity;
- Must have a minimum of 4 – 6 years experience in bulk material handling (conveyor belt systems and storage silos).
- Must have a minimum of 4 – 6 years experience in electrical reticulation (400V – 3.3kV);
- Must have 4 – 6 years experience in contractor management;
- Acting opportunities in a supervisor role will be advantageous.
Qualifications for this role are:
- National Diploma in a Technical field of study OR a T3/S4 in an Engineering field of study;
- Valid Trade Test.

- Provide input into the development and implementation of effective Contractor Management;
- Compile Contractor Management reports as and when required;
- Support to maintain and review Contactor Management related controlled documents;

- Issue ATW and Permits that he/she has been trained on, accredited, and appointed for;
- Administer all documentation associated with the ATW process, including document storage requirements;
- Link the ATW to the relevant permit(s);
- Validate that the work group(s) and Authoriser for ATW has the scope of work clearly defined;
- Validate the correct identification of equipment to be worked on with the Authoriser for ATW;
- Review changes to scope of work and assess impact on ATW status;
- Manage the issue and return of temporary personal locks;
- Communicate with operations once an ATW is closed, i.e. ready for unlocking;
- Issue ATW only within the area they are appointed to;
- Where there is an associated lockbox isolation, confirm that the scope of work can take place within the original intent and boundary of the isolation;
- Keep the ATW office neat and professional;
- Perform workplace Interactions and record these.

ABOUT YOU:

Qualifications for this role are:
- Grade 12 with mathematics for external candidates and Grade 10 for internal candidates;
- Underground blasting certificate for Metalliferous Mines.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Review and improve total cost of ownership models in order to identify low reliability, high maintainability assets / components / tasks, initiate improvement projects where required;
- Review failure data, conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and system-wide analysis to enhance operations reliability;
- Review spare parts criticality analysis and kitting of store spare parts;
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of all asset care plans, corrective task lists and work instructions for existing and new assets and assets systems;
- Facilitate root cause analysis on asset failures to eliminate defects.

- Must have a minimum of 5 years relevant maintenance, asset management or reliability experience;
