    Technician

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Create solutions and resolve repairs timeously.
    • Achievement the monthly Job completion quantity
    • Initiate, plan and Prioritize Urgent Calls.
    • Action timely and accurately on customer queries and feedback
      Provide customer update on part stock availability and job status information.
    • Ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
    • Use formal and informal networks to achieve results through cross functional teams.
    • Communicate with team regularly.
    • Resolve priority calls from management as soon as possible.

     MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Applicants must be Trade Tested artisans at minimum N3 certificate level or will have been deemed competent at Level 4 in Domestic Appliance Repair.
    • Proven experience in trouble shooting and client liaison in the appliance industry.
    • Electrical Wireman’s licence.
    • Licensed Gas Appliance Installer.
    • Driving Licence.
    • Exposure to management principles are also perquisites.
    • Preferably English and another language.
    • Computer literacy.
    • High customer satisfaction results.
    • Efficient job completion (work with daily targets).
    • Has a positive & good attitude .
    • Mobile (work in the field.)

    Spares Clerk

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Receives, inspects and pack spares in correct bin locations.
    • Quantity and condition of spares is checked at the point of receiving.
    • Queries to suppliers raised and timeously closed off.
    • Picks spares as per picking list supplied for branches, sales, AP orders.
    • Quantity and condition of spares picked is accurately checked.
    • Packs spares as per company specifications.
    • Dispatches spares as per instructions on picking lists.
    • Conducts stock counts as per Company procedures (Daily, Monthly).
    • Ensures stocks are correct and available at all times, advises Spares Advisor/Manager accordingly.
    • Presents stocks for audits/stock counts as required.
    • Maintaining bin accuracy and consolidating stock as required.
    • Enters all spares received/dispatched onto spares system.
    • Record keeping, i.e. completion and filing of required documentation (POD’s, IBST’s, waybills).
    • Attending to branch queries and supplier queries
    • Assist Technicians/Contractor with part numbers etc.
    • System maintenance.
    • Adhoc tasks related to warehousing and administration as required by spares Associate/ Lead / Manager.

     MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12 with proven experience in a spares or similar environment.
    • Be able to work proficiently with figures.
    • Good communication skills and computer literacy (esp SAP/WMS and Microsoft office)
    • A valid forklift, Reach Truck & or Order Picker drivers licence will be a definite advantage.

    Specialist R&D Design

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To manage and implement platform projects from conceptual phase to implementation.
    • To design products/components and or make improvements/changes to existing products/ components in line with market requirements and trends.
    • To manage and implement cost reduction/quality improvement projects.
    • To ensure products comply to standard requirements.
    • Conduct laboratory experiments, testing prototypes, and collecting data to evaluate product performance.
    • Keeping abreast of the latest scientific advancements and industry regulations.
    • Working with cross-functional teams like marketing, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure smooth product development and commercialization.
    • Studying market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify potential areas for innovation.

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or related field.
    • Experience in 2D & 3D drawing and modelling.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production or R&D based environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Product Development/Project Management experience would be advantageous.
    • Good understanding of Sheet Metal Design Principles, Plastic & Electrical components would also be advantageous.
