ROLE OVERVIEW:

• You will play a major role in the design of all digital assets and web platforms for all brands under the PEP group. You will be responsible for graphic and front-end web design with a user-centric approach that is aimed at continuously improving the user experience across all digital platforms, including but not limited to creative for web, email, social, digital ads, UI/UX, web design & more.

    
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create engaging visual designs & interactive experiences
• Create digital assets that are optimized for the web
• Production of all imagery for digital channels in collaboration with photo studio & marketing team
• Creative design and execution of all web-optimized & digital advertising needs, such as banners, GIF’s etc for marketing campaigns & website content
• Design email, social & website assets 
• Design cutting-edge digital creatives such as banner ads, feature graphics, illustrations, motion designs, etc for marketing
• Re-sizing digital assets according to platform requirements
• A strong understanding of user-centred design, visual design & interaction design
• Optimizing sites for optimal speed and scalability
• An understanding of the principles of A/B testing and exposure to multi-variate tools
• Work with the team to ideate, create and execute new digital concepts for enhanced digital user experiences (i.e: product launches, digital self-service, online shopping experiences, marketing campaigns, etc).
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ideate creative concepts for our brands
• Stay abreast of the design trends with the latest graphic design/marketing and communication trends for digital advertising
• Basic video editing & animation
• Research targeted users to understand & meet their needs on our digital channels & interfaces
• Design interaction models, wireframes, prototypes & the digital CI
• Conduct user testing & focus groups for feedback on design changes required for product enhancement
• Handover & communicate fully specced designs to the Dev team
• Web optimization: SEO, site load-speed & performance
• Coding mailers & updating websites via CMS(Wordpress, Shopify, Magento)
• Ensure responsive front-end design with cross-platform & cross-browser compatibility

    
JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• Relevant Graphic Design, Web Design, UI/UX or related qualification
• 2 - 3 years in Graphic Design & illustration
• Experience in creating digital marketing assets optimized for the web
• Strong portfolio required (please submit a link to your portfolio with your application)
• Wordpress & or Magento CMS experience advantageous
• Experience in eCommerce is a huge plus
• Envision or Sketch proficiency
• Adobe CS: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & other related design tools
• Excellent eye for design
• Passion for storytelling through digital illustration & other digital formats
• Fashion/home decor/retail or Ad Agency experience is advantageous
• HTML5, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery is a plus
• Must enjoy working on various projects concurrently
• Adaptability and flexibility in a changing environment
• Graphic & UI Design (creative suite) - 80%
• UI Development - (code) 20%

THE OPPORTUNITY

• An opportunity exists for a dynamic individual to join our team of specialists to support supply chain-related projects in the PEP business. This is a fast-paced, action-packed role that will directly contribute to our supply chain success.

THE ROLE

• You will be exposed to various aspects of our supply chain, including Shipping, DCs, Transport and Stores. Through this, you will have the opportunity to diagnose problems, identify solutions, propose improvements and execute action plans. The role will focus largely on operations and facility infrastructure. 
• This is a perfect role for somebody who will enjoy being immersed in operations and also have the longer-term view of growing his/her supply chain exposure and knowledge. You will work closely with other team members who will provide guidance and support where needed to ensure you grow your knowledge and successfully deliver on projects.

WHAT’S NEEDED

• A candidate with a passion for supply chain and a drive to improve processes. A self-starter that takes ownership of their work and is ready to make an impact in the business. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Development of business cases 
• Leading supply chain projects
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Mapping and development of supply chain processes
• Developing SOPs to enable optimal business and system integration
• Liaise with various role players and departments to provide supply chain support

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE 

• Degree in Industrial Engineering
• 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Engineer
• Project Management experience
• Retail knowledge and exposure will be an advantage
• Experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodology will be an advantage
• Advanced level of computer skills, especially MS Excel
