The successful applicant must have the following qualification and experience:

Responsible for
Product Analytics & Insights

1. Analyse Transactional data and behaviours to determine key focus areas.

2. Drive and ensure financial reporting is accurate and identify areas of growth/cost reductions or pricing updates.

3. Monitor for trends and determine initiatives that will grow new accounts and usage across the banking product.

4. Assist the product team in achieving its objective by providing relevant analytics, product insights, information and analysis.

5. Conduct identified analysis on African Bank MyWorld account and customers to derive insights around our product offering, with the aim to provide insights that will identify areas of opportunity and risk. The analysis will help the area improve its offers to customers, optimise sales and profitability.

6. Provide analytic and data support to the product area around product initiatives e.g. research of new products and the review of existing products & post implementation analysis.

7. Aid with any ad hoc data or insight requirement that may be requested.

8. Where required, source data from within the business to meet product analytics needs.

9. Facilitate the incorporation of data and analytics from other business areas into Product analysis and reviews

10. Prepare a presentation of results for presentation to Exco or identified stakeholders for final approval

11. Identify opportunities to enhance profitability of the product

12. Increase utilisation of the product

13. Manage the Rewards relating to the product

About the job
The ideal candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including responding to incoming support calls and emails in a timely manner ensuring that all support requests are logged, resolved and escalated.
Job Requirements:

• A+, Help Desk Analyst Certificate or IT Diploma
• Knowledge of or background working with the ITIL methodology
• Minimum of 1-year experience in the operation of IS&T service organizations
• IT Service Management Foundation certificate is desirable
• In depth knowledge of general desktop computing systems
• In depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products. Certification will be an advantage
• Basic knowledge of ERP (SAP) for profile and security management and master data monitoring
• Good understanding of remote support software/tools

Responsibilities:

• Responding to all incoming emails and queries via call center management principles
• Working with Service Desk tools for change processes
• Troubleshoot and provide first line support to end users for all IT related support requests related to computer, network, printer and IT applications and systems
• Managing user accounts
• Writing, updating, and maintaining documentation (PCL documents)
• Analyzing and identifying support trends and process improvement opportunities to improve IT support
• Following up and closure of all calls logged
• Posting system status messages regarding outages or major problems
• Completing weekly and monthly reports
• Providing on the job training to other team members within the limits of personal knowledge and experience
• Interaction with the infrastructure team and applications team

About the job

• The ideal candidate for this position will be liable to perform Occupational Hygiene, Ventilation observations and monitoring at all working places, as well as gathering information, writing reports, identifying hazards and potential system improvement ideas

Job Requirements:

• Grade 12 with Mathematics, Science or Biology
• Qualification in Occupational Hygiene or Intermediate certificate in Mine Environmental Control or Equivalent
• Minimum of three years experience in practical Occupational Hygiene /Ventilation
• Computer literate
• Familiar with “Pivot” Occupational Health electronic software will be an advantage
