    Strategic Relationship Manager

    Purpose of the Job:

    To actively maintain existing national and regional partner and client relationships and ensure that needs and challenges are resolved timeously with innovative solutions. This is done through engagement and collaboration at appropriate levels with partners and clients. The successful incumbent must be prepared to travel throughout South Africa routinely in line with their national responsibilities.

    Identifying, establishing and maintaining new national and regional partner relationships in the Professional Market which will lead to the opening up of new worksites and/or sources of new PPS members.

    Main duties and responsibilities:

    Business Relationships:

    • Business Relationship building and maintenance at senior leadership and executive level
    • Establishing and maintaining high level relationships with the Executive level of the major University Leadership structures – Rectors, Vice Chancellors, Deputy VC’s and Deans of Faculties etc
    • Paving the way for our Graduate market teams to be more accepted on campus,
    • Highlight the crucial role that we play in providing students with basic, street wise financial knowledge and skills for example; (to manage their financial affairs and help them avoid making the many financial mistakes in their early career lives which have serious and long-term consequences)
    • Build working relationships with professional market organisations
    • Public speaking and training
    • Negotiating

    Formal Qualifications:

    • Matric (Grade 12) / NQF 4 (Matric Equivalent) and
    • NQF Level 7

    Experience and Knowledge:

    • Minimum 5 years’ relevant industry experience, particularly in sales/third party distribution and maintaining business relationships
    • Able to compile marketing material
    • Exposure to data warehousing of mission critical documents
    • The ability to analyse and interpret statistical data
    • Public speaking and industry related technical training experience
