    Software Development Engineer

    What You’ll Do

    Transport Partner Operations Executive - France

    Role Overview:

    Our TP Operations Executives play a vital role in supporting and managing our Transport Partners (TPs) — the driving force on the supply side of our business. They act as a crucial link between AnyVan and our TP network, ensuring we attract, onboard, and retain high-performing partners who deliver exceptional service to our customers.


    What you’ll be doing:

    Recruitment and onboarding

    • Source and recruit new TPs in the French market.
      Get them set up on our portal and app so they know exactly how to bid on and complete jobs.

    • Deliver training and support to help them succeed and meet AnyVan’s quality standards.

    Support & Build Relationships

    • Be the friendly, reliable point of contact for our TPs – helping with questions about accounts, jobs, or how to use the platform.

    • Keep up-to-date lists of who’s available, where they’re based, and what jobs they can cover.

    • Build trust with both TPs and customers by solving problems quickly and keeping everyone informed.

    Keep Things Running Smoothly

    • Assign jobs to the right TPs, negotiating rates so everyone’s happy.

    • Manage quotes and make proactive calls to secure the best deals for both TPs and AnyVan.

    • Keep an eye on TP performance – stepping in if there are issues like low feedback scores or compliance concerns.

    • Tackle compliance and service quality issues head-on to reduce cancellations and keep standards high.

    • Make sure all regular TP account management tasks are ticked off on time.

    Be There for Customers

    • On the day of service, you’ll often be the first point of contact for our customers, answering questions, troubleshooting, and making sure they feel supported.

    • Work with both customers and TPs to make sure deadlines are met and any hiccups are quickly sorted out.

    • Keep customer records accurate and up to date.

    • Team up with other departments to make sure customers always get the best experience.

    Senior People Ops/Systems Administration Specialist

    What you'll be doing:

    • Build a solid framework for our people processes so we can scale efficiently across countries.

    • Own our HRIS (we use Bamboo) and know how to optimise it to save time, automate tasks, and get useful data out.

    • Take charge of all post-offer admin: background checks, visa sponsorship, contracts, etc making sure new hires have a smooth journey.

    • Help shape onboarding experiences that minimise the admin required whilst keeping candidate experience high and business risk low.

    • Lead off-boarding processes that protect the business and leave departing employees with a positive impression.

    • Enable our finance team to run payroll smoothly for new joiners, leavers, promotions, etc and make sure all data changes are captured and reflected accurately.

    • Manage the end to end benefits administration process quickly and effectively.

    • Keep all our systems and records up to date, and create people reports that help the business make smart decisions.

    • Work with external partners like benefits providers, payroll providers, etc to keep things running smoothly.

    • Assist our Head of HR by keeping one eye on any legislation changes, etc that are coming in that may impact us and reflect any changes needed in our processes, documentation, etc.

    • Stay sharp on all things AnyVan — our products, processes, policies, and service standards.

    • Jump in on any other ad-hoc people operations work that comes up (because there’s always something new in a scale-up!). For example we're growing fast, so there's opportunity to assist our Head of HR by researching employment laws, benefits, and local requirements in new markets.

    What you’ll need to succeed

    • Solid experience in a people operations role in a fast-paced environment.

    • You'll be used to working in small, highly visible teams with lots of accountability.

    • A track record of building processes that genuinely solve business challenges.

    • Confidence in documenting processes, writing policies, and creating clear process flows.

    • Strong understand of HR legislation and how to apply in an SME to keep things moving quickly whilst minimising business risk.

    • Hands-on experience with HR and Payroll systems like Bamboo, Sage, Payfit and you know how to get the most out of them.

    • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to build reports and use people metrics to inform decisions.

    Senior Transport Partner Operations Executive - France

    What you'll be doing:

    • Leading the charge on positivity, running team huddles, setting daily goals, and keeping morale sky-high.

    Transport Partner Acquisition Lead

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Partner Acquisition & Pipeline: Build acquisition strategies, grow the pipeline, track metrics, and make sure our partners actually get onboarded

    Allocations Specialist - France

    What you’ll be doing:
    Joining the Allocations team you'll be the go-to person for keeping things moving—literally! Working with the supply side and our drivers in France, here’s what you’ll be getting stuck into.

    • Make sure all our jobs are allocated by proactively reaching out (mostly by phone) to our TP's to pitch the available jobs to them.

    • You'll need to own the allocation process—manage pipelines and assign jobs to TPs in a way that keeps them engaged and motivated.

    • Stay on top of your TP network and build solid relationships.

    • You'll know who’s available, what vehicles they have, where they are, what jobs they can cover, and their rates and margins.

    • Make sure they’re getting the kind of work that suits their needs so they stay active and loyal to AnyVan.

    • Have good commercial and influencing skills to negotiate competitive rates that work for AnyVan, our customers, and our TP's.

    • Manually create ‘routes’ and schedules for transport partners consisting of multi-job loads.

    • Manage and monitor job routes to make sure everything runs to schedule.

    • Jump in when things don’t go to plan—resolve issues quickly by working closely with both TPs and customers to find smart, timely solutions and handle last-minute cancellations or failures by re-allocating the jobs (this is where you're relationships and knowledge of you TP base really comes in to play).

    • Handle key admin tasks like checking proof of delivery and keeping in touch with customers.

    • Hit your targets—not just on numbers, but on the way you work too (top-notch customer service, strong communication, etc.).

    • Performance will be measured through the following key metrics

    • Build great relationships across AnyVan. You’ll work closely with teams like Sales and Customer Services to share operational insights and improve overall service delivery.

    What you’ll bring:

    • Experience in a commercial contact center/transport broker, transport coordinator, or live control/logistics role.

    • Bonus points if you have knowledge of the French market.

    • You MUST be able to speak and write fluently in French.

    • A commercial approach — You know how to build trust-based relationships and can negotiate with TPs in a way that works for both them and the business.

    • Targets don’t scare you—you’re comfortable working towards them and hitting your goals.

    • You’ve got strong Excel skills and can pull together accurate, insightful reports to help drive smarter decisions.

    • Self-motivated, emotionally intelligent, and resilient—you stay cool under pressure and adapt easily when things change.

    • Currently living in a commutable distance to our offices in the Central Business district and happy to be based onsite 5 days a week and can work weekends and evenings on a rotational shift pattern.
