Requirements

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

• Grade 12
• An office management diploma or certificate will be advantageous

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

• 3 Years experience in agricultural equipment

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS       

• Ensure constant availability of stock in the branch by placing sundry and stock attachment orders.
• Assist with maintaining stock levels by participating in stock counting and stocktaking.
• Processing of sales and ensuring the accuracy of wholegoods documentation.
• Ensure that wholegoods equipment is licensed and registered.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
• Assist marketers with day-to-day operations.
• Costing and invoicing of Wholegoods.
• Place stock orders and follow up on outstanding orders with suppliers.
• Assist and resolve queries and prices telephonically.
• Complete and forward commission report for processing.
• Compile outstanding order reports and other sales reports.
• Order equipment as per required specifications.

Requirements

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

• N2 Qualified Technician

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

• 3 years’ relevant experience (including training as Apprentice)

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

• Perform repairs and maintenance of tractors and equipment
• Build and maintain good customer relationships and ensure that customer queries and complaints are resolved within the prescribed turnaround time
• Update job cards
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure that protective equipment is used as prescribed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES          

• Valid drivers licence

Description

Responsible for the overall management of the maintenance program for the main plant and, if applicable, the dog food plant on the business premises.

Requirements

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

• Grade 12
• N6 Millwright/Technical Qualification
• Trade certificate: Millwright
• Registered Wireman’s Licence - Category 2: Installation Electrician 

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

• 6 years technical experience as a qualified Millwright
• Previous experience within an animal feed factory will be an advantage

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

• Plan the maintenance schedule
• Inspect and repair machinery and equipment
• Maintain an up-to-date list of  critical spares, procure and manage spare parts and stock on emergency spares
• Conduct regular inspections and repairs of equipment and machinery to prevent mechanical and electrical breakdowns
• Oversee the speedy repairs of unplanned breakdowns
• Manage the planned preventative maintenance program by accurately documenting preventative inspections and recommending the replacement and/or repairs of equipment and machinery 
• Recruit and appoint competent employees, manage performance and resolve grievances, conflict and disciplinary issues in line with applicable HR policies.
• Manage and control the plant's budget 
• Monitor and prevent food safety risks in work areas, ensure food safety awareness and report non-conforming products
• Ensure health and safety are maintained in accordance with relevant legislation and company policy
