    Shop Assistant

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Valid Matric
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Own transport

    DUTIES &  RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Customer Service & Sales:

    • Greet and Assist: Approach and welcome customers, assist them in finding specific items, and provide guidance on products
    • Process Transactions: Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer payments, issue receipts, and handle returns
    • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of store items to give accurate advice and recommendations
    • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints and inquiries professionally, escalating complex issues to management
    • Promote Sales: Inform customers about current promotions and specials to encourage purchases

    Stock & Store Maintenance:

    • Receive & Unpack: Receive new shipments, unpack them, and organize the goods
    • Restock Shelves: Replenish low stock levels and ensure shelves are always full and neatly arranged
    • Merchandising: Create and maintain attractive product displays and manage window displays to enhance the store's appearance
    • Inventory Control: Conduct periodic price audits to resolve discrepancies and assist with inventory control
    • Store Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor, including cleaning fixtures, windows, and the shop floor after hours

    Operations & Teamwork:

    • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to maintain a clean and organized store environment
    • Follow Procedures: Adhere to company guidelines, procedures, and health and safety regulations
    • Security Awareness: Be aware of potential shoplifting and fraud to help maintain store security
    • Opening & Closing: Perform shop opening and closing procedures as required

    HR Administrator & Training

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Valid Matric
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Own transport
    • Have IR / HR experience
    • Computer Literate (MS Office)
    • Be willing to sleep out and work overtime if needed.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Record Management: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personal data, employment history, attendance, and leave information. 
    • Policy & Compliance: Help to communicate HR policies, ensuring adherence to company procedures. Complainant / Initiator for hearings. Facilitator / Initiator for Grievances / Counselling Sessions.

    Product Processing Assistant

    Retail Operations Manager

    KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead and support a team of 4 Area Managers in overseeing day-to-day operations across retail fuel sites to ensure smooth, safe, and compliant operations.
    • Support and manage the Retail Support Officer to deliver outstanding performance.
    • Monitor and analyse sales, margin, and volume performance across all sites. Identify underperforming retail sites and implement corrective action plans.
    • Translate the Retail Director’s strategic objectives into operational plans and guide Area Managers in execution.
    • Ensure all retail sites maintain brand, safety, health, environmental and quality (SHEQ)standards. Conduct regular audits and follow-ups.
    • Drive initiatives to improve customer service and ensure consistent, high-quality customers interactions at all retail sites.
    • Provide leadership and support to Area Managers, helping them grow their capabilities.
    • Promote accountability and alignment with company values.
    • Identify and implement operational efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives across the network.
    • Assist with rollouts of new initiatives, systems, and infrastructure upgrades, coordinating between Retail Director, Area Managers, and relevant teams.
    • Compile regular operational and performance reports for the Retail Director, providing insights and recommendations.

    QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Retail, Operations, or a related field (preferred)
    • 5+ years in a retail operations role, preferably within the fuel or FMCG sectors
    • Experience managing multi-site operations
    • Strong people management and stakeholder engagement skills

    • RAF Litigation experience
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Strong analytical skills
