    Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

    Requirements

    • Candidates must be in possession of a valid South African Aviation Authority (SACAA) Maintenance Engineer License / AME Type License
    • Qualified as SACAA maintenance engineer for a minimum of 7 years.
    • SACAA logged work experience for Airbus helicopters AS350B3 type for 5 years as an AME.
    • Proof of 5 years’ experience in managing all the requirements for a SACAA accredited AMO as the responsible person within SACAA SOP structures.
    • Manage the AVDEX maintenance software for all aircraft.
    • Spares management to ensure availability on site.
    • Operational support to pilots, which may include nights and weekends.
    • Management of aircraft after their return from a flight to ensure correct turnaround and operational standby.
    • Driver’s License Code 08.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee and ensure compliance with SACAA and international regulatory requirements for the Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO).
    • Act as the primary point of contact with SACAA for all AMO-related matters, including audits, certifications, and regulatory updates.
    • Ensure the AMO’s Quality Management System (QMS) is implemented, maintained, and continuously improved.
    • Manage and allocate resources (personnel, equipment, budgets) to meet AMO operational and safety objectives.
    • Lead and promote a safety culture within the AMO, ensuring all personnel adhere to safety policies and procedures.
    • Review and approve maintenance procedures, manuals, and policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Ensure accurate and timely documentation, record-keeping, and reporting as required by SACAA and organisational standards.
    • Conduct regular reviews of AMO performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

    • Communicate technical information, observations, and findings to colleagues and relevant stakeholders for efficient coordination and decision-making.
    • Prioritise safety in all operations; adhere to safety regulations and actively promote a safety culture among the team.

    Wildlife Driver: Five (5) Months Fixed-Term Contract

    Requirements

    • Grade 12.
    • 1 years experience in the wildlife capture industry will be an added advantage.
    • Job-related knowledge of wildlife industry standard operations procedures.
    • A valid Code EC driver’s license with a valid PDP.
    • Two years of experience in driving code 14 fixed truck or articulated combination truck with trailer (Horse & trailer).

    Duty Manager

    Requirements

    • A National Diploma in Tourism Management or equivalent from a reputable & recognized institution or Hotel School in Hotel Management, Tourism / Hospitality Management.
    • Three years’ operational experience in housekeeping, front office and terrain maintenance.

    Responsibilities

    • Directly part in the managing all Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure that the courteous and efficient welcoming and departure procedures for guests are carried out.

    • To provide and sell all services and facilities offered by Augrabies Falls National Park.
    • Responsible for the Front Office and Access Control administration daily in accordance with laid down procedures.

    • Assist with the compilation and management of operational budget for the tourism department of the park.

    • Be on-call outside normal working hours to take charge of any emerging crisis affecting visitors and staff.
    • To act in the absence of a Hospitality Services Manager and when delegated.
    • Take responsibilities of duties while being “Officer on Duty”.
    • Responsible for HR related matters including administration of attendance registers.
    • Ensure terrains (including gardens) are maintained in a good and acceptable standard.
    • Supervision over staff function.
    • Required to work over weekends, public holidays and Ad-hoc duties when required.
    • Responsible for weekly, monthly and annual report submissions.

    Job Description

    • The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for assisting in managing of the Farleigh East Working for Water Project, in the Wilderness sections of the Garden Route National Park.
    • The position is on a fixed term contract up to 31 March 2027. Remuneration on C2 Paterson salary scale, Farleigh East on R 24 755.46, staying outside the park.

    Requirements
