    Planner/Inventory Controller

    Job Description

    Danfoss is looking for an enthusiastic Planner/ Inventory Controller to join our team. If you have experience in Logistics, Warehousing and/or inventory management and possess a drive for achieving results, with excellent time management and organisational skills, then this position would be well-suited to your capabilities. 

    Job Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

    • Coordinating and reconciling of cycle counts prior to posting.
    • Auditing storage locations.
    • Addressing KPI deviations and updating STD work charts.
    • Implementing control measures to eliminate process errors and inventory discrepancies. 
    • Conducting thorough calculations to determine the Warehouse's maximum work capacity.

    • A tertiary education in Logistics, Warehousing, or similar.
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Logistics, Warehousing, or similar.
    • Exceptional understanding of SAP enterprise and inventory management practices.

    Customer Service Intern - Africa Project

    Job Description

    Danfoss is seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Intern for a 12-month internship opportunity to establish and maintain good relationships with customers in Africa on behalf of the company by taking complete responsibility for each customer account as assigned.     Job Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following.

    • Inbound calls from customers with various questions and inquiries about Danfoss’s products and services.
    • Partnering with customers in conversation over phone or email to determine what products they need and when.
    • Collaborating with other sales, transportation, fulfillment, and warehouse teams to ensure that we are delivering on our customer’s expectations.
    • Conducting analysis of a customer’s forecast, trends in orders, and contract details to ensure we are staying ahead of their needs.
    • Supporting fellow Customer Service team members, as needed, to ensure the team can achieve annual goals.
    • Ensuring accuracy of logistics documentation and ensuring that our customers have all the documents that they need.

    • A Matric Certificate.
    • A maximum of 2 years’ Call Center or Client facing experience.
    • Exposure to logistics operations an added advantage. 
    • Exposure to an ERP system would be beneficial.

    Sales Engineer

    Job Description

    Danfoss Power Electronics & Drives, a global market leader in energy efficiency products and technologies in its core markets of HVAC-R, is looking for a Sales Engineer based in Johannesburg to join our team.
    The successful candidate will be responsible for the HVAC-R industry and managing relations with existing customers under his/her area of responsibility, developing strategies to achieve the company's set turnover and profitability targets and increasing market share as well as gaining new markets and customers.

    Job Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

    • Selling Danfoss Products to the Commercial Buildings, Industrial & Data Centers sectors through partners, system integrators, wholesalers and contractors,
    • Increasing overall sales of Buildings solutions (volume, value and margin in line with agreed targets),
    • Establishing strong relationship with key customers such as designers, system integrator’s and mechanical contractors,
    • Offering technical product and application support to customers,
    • Working and sharing knowledge as well as sales leads with other divisions of Danfoss,
    • Managing pricing, pipeline, and development  proactively avoiding conflicts between stakeholders,
    • Developing and executing feasible sales plans plus building a comprehensive customer database,
    • Developing, qualifying, following up, and closing sales opportunities, reporting all in the Sales Pipeline,
    • Providing input for the demand plan and rolling forecast,
    • Monitoring market trends and competitors.

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechancial Engineering,
    • At least 3 - 5 years of experience HVAC-R Sales business,
    • Experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) would be an advantage,
    • Experience working with partners, system integrators, contractors, retails sectors, wholesalers and designer engineers,
    • Experience in CRM tools (Sales Force),
    • Proficiency in MS Office Applications,
    • Ability to build a relationship quickly and effectively,
    • Meets the deadlines on time.
    • Fluent in English,
    • Willingness to travel.
