    Driver (North West)

    Description

    OPERATIONAL

    Responsibilities

    • Collect and drop –off of employees at the site.(even after hours)
    • Support the operation by driving to and from various locations
    • Collection of items when requested by the site

    GOVERNANCE

    • Complete the required safety documentation
    • Adhere to all road safety signs
    • Comply with FA and the client's safety regulations

    REPORTING, RECORDING AND REVIEW

    • Must complete a logbook for the kilos travelled on each trip
    • Must keep records of all travelled trips

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATION

    • Grade 12

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 2 years experience as a driver

    SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES

    • Valid code 8 or 10
    • Must have professional driving permit
    • Valid PDP License

    Site Clerk (North West)

    Description

    RESPONSIBIITIES

    Site Administration Office

    • Accurate completion of requisitions for all purchases
    • Correct contract allocations on requisitions
    • Ensure proper approvals are obtained for all purchases
    • Maintain site costing documentation

    Safety and training Administration

    • Ensure that back up of the data base is available
    • Preventing loss/damage of property in the office
    • Ensuring proper housekeeping in the specific Site Office

    Personal Administration

    • Liaising between the site administrator and the site/contract manager, as well as the wage office and/or the HR department
    • Compiling of the monthly HR report figures and forwarding such figures/info to the Site Administrator

    Wage Administration

    • Controlling, compiling and the forwarding of the time book document, as required by wages monthly
    • Registering and handling of all wage queries

    Communication

    • Minute information discuss at the monthly communication meeting
    • Act as the link between employees and Site Administrator/management at the site

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12
    • Certificate in finance /HR Administration

    EXPERIENCE

    • 1 year previous Administration experience
    • Construction site admin experience would be advantageous

    Millwright (x2) (North West)

    Description

    PURPOSE

    • Exciting opportunities exist to assist in ensuring efficient operations of the Plant against set objectives, thus maintenance of the Plant .
    • Assist in attending breakdowns as and when required.

    Requirements

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Maintenance

    • Create job cards
    • Execute Engineering work as planned
    • Inspect equipment in a working area
    • Perform general and process maintenance / repairs – electrical/ mechanical
    • Execute planned maintenance tasks
    • Fault finding on centrifugal pumps, electrical motors, diesel engines, hydraulic systems
    • Perform quality assurance inspections on service providers

    Health and Safety

    • Maintain company and client safety policy and procedure requirements
    • Promote safety performance
    • Conduct risk assessments
    • Conduct planned task observations
    • Investigate and report all incidents
    • Ensure Mine Health and Safety compliance

    Operations

    • Maintain good housekeeping standards
    • Do proper shift handover
    • Assist to operate the Plant when required
    • Rectify process deficiencies
    • Monitor Plant performance to obtain optimum production
    • Advise operations on sub-standard practices
    • Manage spares

    Administration

    • Complete all reports regarding safety, production, quality control and maintenance

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • N3 Mechanical / Electrical subjects
    • Trade test – Millwright MQA / Merseta preferred

    EXPERIENCE

    • Five years experience as a Millwright
    • Previous mining / production / construction environment exposure (preferable)
    • Good working knowledge of star/delta starters and VSD systems
    • PLC basic programming experience and field application
    • Experience on internal combustion engines (diesel)

    Construction Supervisor (Limpopo)

    PURPOSE

    • This position exists to ensure safe and effective construction of several concrete structures in a construction environment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work with materials and equipment in a cost-effective way, as per standard operating procedures and practice notes as directed by line manager.
    • Assist QS with onsite measurement and recordings as required.
    • Responsible for operational execution of work assigned to them, through delivery of their own tasks and duties, as well as supervision of the work for the team on shift.
    • Comply with all reporting and information requirements, as set by the Site Agent.
    • Check drawings and quantities and ensure that the calculations are accurate for the work.
    • Supply information to assist Site Agent with client liaison.
    • Liaise with Team Leaders / Operators by having discussions with them on site about performance, methods, progress, and quality.
    • Execute all duties in strict compliance to SHEQ policies, procedures and legislation, to ensure the company's responsibility is met.
    • Record actual progress against programme, for their work area and team.
    • Report to Site Agent / Project manager on work progress.
    • Ensure all paperwork and posters are displayed on the site office wall and kept up to date.
    • Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • National senior certificate/ Grade 12 (Matric).
    • Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management.
    • Supervisor training certificate will be advantageous.

    EXPERIENCE

    • At least 5 years’ experience working in a construction environment.
    • Technical Drawings.
    • Knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
    • Planning and reporting.
