    Junior Tax Consultant (First Trust SA Company)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare Provisional Tax Returns and Income Tax Returns for companies, individuals, and trusts.
    • Prepare Dividends Withholding Tax Returns.
    • Prepare Capital Gains Tax (CGT) computations.
    • Conduct tax research and prepare reports on various tax-related topics as assigned by management.
    • Handle VAT, PAYE, SDL, Customs, and Income Tax registrations and deregistration as required
    • Facilitate the appointment of a Public Officer for tax purposes as required
    • Assist with ad hoc tax-related duties as required by management.

    Requirements:

    • Strong working knowledge of SARS eFiling and the Income Tax Act.
    • A diploma or degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field (completed or in progress).
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
