    Project Support & Operations Specialist (North America Hours)

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented, and proactive, Project Support & Operations Specialist to support client engagement, service agreement management, and operational workflows within a dual-function role.
    • This position requires working North America hours and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment with more defined processes being developed.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Client Interaction & Scheduling (50%)

    • Interface directly with clients and internal resources to coordinate scheduling and engagement activities.
    • Manage day-to-day tasks through a ticketing system.
    • Operate within a face-paced environment and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to define, structure, and document new operational processes.

    Service Agreement Management (40%)

    • Oversee 50–150 Recurring Service Agreements, ensuring active tracking and renewal readiness.
    • Define or Redefine the value proposition for all clients who have recurring service agreements.

    Track and analyze:

    • Opportunities to utilize Recurring Services
    • Projects against the Recurring Services Balances including – remaining balances, expiration dates and renewal cycles.
    • Consolidate and centralize fragmented data sources into actionable insights.

    Administrative Operations (10%)

    • Handle a variety of administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
    • Maintain and organize process documentation and operational plans.

    KEY COMPETENCIES & TOOLS:

    • Self-Starter – able to define, build, and implement systems from scratch with minimal oversight.
    • Analytical Thinking – comfortable working with incomplete data and turning it into structured outputs. And combining data from multiple sources into one view.
    • Process-Oriented – experience defining and streamlining workflows in a fast paced environment.
    • Detail-Oriented – meticulous with tracking, scheduling, and follow-ups.
    • Experience with ticketing systems, Power BI, and OpenAir is advantageous.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2–4 years experience in operations, or service delivery
    • Experience working with service agreements, client success, or recurring revenue models
    • Proficiency in business analysis and reporting tools
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Prior exposure to SaaS or tech-enabled services preferred

    Software Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Develop software features in a self-sufficient way and to a high technical standard
    • Understanding the system architecture and technical goals of the product
    • Follow the development process (source control, branching, testing, etc.) without assistance
    • Actively troubleshoot issues and assist with complex support queries that require further analysis
    • Taking part in team rituals such as stand-ups, planning sessions, demos and retrospectives
    • Taking part in team activities such as collaborative development and code reviews
    • Taking part in cross-team activities such as knowledge-sharing and documentation

    Essential Criteria

    • Demonstrable experience in JavaScript (Native / Typescript / JQuery)
    • Demonstrable experience in NX/Angular or similar technologies.
    • Demonstrable experience in SQL (Microsoft SQL Server)

    Advantageous Criteria

    • Experience using cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, API Management tools, Key Vault, Encryption)
    • Experience in writing Unit Tests (NUnit, xUnit, Jasmine)

    Property Accountant (North America Hours)

    Position Overview:

    • MRI Software is seeking a Property Accountant to join our team.
    • This team focuses on doing the accounting for social housing clients in North America.
    • The successful candidate will work on multiple client financials over the course of the month with hard deadlines.
    • This role requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure while managing multiple priorities and demanding client expectations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Reconcile bank statements
    • Post tenant receipts
    • Post journal entries
    • Enter invoices into Accounts Payable module
    • Prepare monthly property workpapers, journal entries, accruals, etc.
    • Analyze balance sheet and income statements for unusual activity and report to client
    • Produce financial statement reports and submit to owner/management company
    • Communicate timely with clients and co-workers

    Skills and other requirements:

    • Experience working in a multi-client environment (ideal)
    • Proven experience in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment with demanding clients
    • Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills
    • 3+ years’ experience as a property accountant with a commercial or residential management company
    • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and management through written and/or verbal communication
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, including reviewing the work of accounting assistants

    Operations Financial Analyst - Accounting (UK Hours)

    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    • The Operations Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the financial integrity and efficiency of the Professional Services team.
    • This position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end billing process, including the review and analysis of monthly invoices, missed billings, and credit requests.
    • The role requires strong financial analytical skills and a deep understanding of billing systems such as OpenAir.
    • The Financial Operations Analyst will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Project Managers and Practice Leaders, to resolve billing issues and ensure timely, accurate invoicing.
    • Additionally, the role involves preparing financial reports, supporting quarterly referral commission payments, and contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes.
    • The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive in addressing financial discrepancies, and skilled at providing financial insights to support decision-making within the team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collaborate with the Global Services Operations Team to review and finalise the global month-end schedule annually
    • Communicate key month-end dates to the Professional Services Team
    • Regularly analyse pending billings to minimise potential issues at month-end
    • Report on and analyse missed billings, working with Project Managers (PMs) and Practice Leaders to resolve them
    • Liaise with the wider Operations team regarding timesheet submission and approval status
    • Collaborate with the Commercial Offerings Manager regarding recurring services and inclusive project charges
    • Oversee the monthly invoice process (end-to-end), managing the generation of approximately 950 invoices each month
    • Manage and resolve invoice rejections and timesheet adjustments, ensuring timely resolution
    • Prepare and review month-end billing files and financial reports
    • Analyse billing queries and credit requests, providing detailed financial analysis
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (PMs, Practice Leaders) to review and obtain approval for credit requests
    • Generate credits in OpenAir and produce accurate credit intact files for the billings team
    • Troubleshoot and resolve billing issues raised by PMs, offering guidance on project and billing rule setup
    • Analyse and prepare referral data for quarterly commission payments
    • Provide training and support to the Professional Services team in the use of OpenAir, focusing on billing rules and how to assess the financial health of their projects
    • Assist PMs in setting up project billing rules and ensure compliance with best practices
    • Attend team meetings as the Operations financial representative, offering financial insights and best practice advice
    • Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of Operations department processes and procedure
    • Provide regular reports and liaise with PMs regarding clients aged debt positions, offering financial guidance as needed
    • Meet with the Finance team monthly to monitor and ensure accurate recognition of prepaid and inclusive project charges
    • Assist the Operations Director and Forecasting Manager with ad-hoc financial reports and data analysis

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Accountant or partially qualified accountant with relevant experience in financial or accounting roles, with a solid understanding of financial statements, accruals, and other key accounting concepts
    • Proven ability to take initiative and drive tasks to completion, ensuring deadlines are consistently met. Must be an effective communicator who knows when to involve others to ensure timely delivery
    • Strong strategic, tactical, and detail-oriented mindset, with meticulous attention to accuracy, order, client satisfaction, and quick turnaround times
    • Expert proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, formatting, pivot tables) and MS Office
    • Exceptional professionalism and communication skills, with the ability to address queries and provide clear, prompt responses
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review financial data, gather insights, and present results to support business process improvements and decision-making
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with a willingness to learn, adapt, and thrive in a constantly evolving environment
    • Excellent organisation and record-keeping abilities, including developing and maintaining processes and procedures critical to the team’s success
    • Experience in Professional Services or IT consulting is an advantage
    • Familiarity with OpenAir and Salesforce.com is a plus

    • In this position, you will be the primary point of contact for a broad variety of customers from financial and property management institutions, assisting with a wide range of questions and technical issues.
    • You will be responsible for triaging new support cases raised by our customers on our online portal, ensuring that we have all the information required to investigate their case.
    • Once triaged, you will provide a first response on the case and request any missing information.
    • You will identify if it is a case that first line support can resolve, or if it needs moving to second line support.
    • Training on our software will be provided.
