    Internal Audit Specialist

    • Our client, a leading multinational in the mining and natural resources sector, is seeking an Internal Audit Specialist to join their established team in Johannesburg. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by strengthening internal controls, supporting risk management, and enhancing governance across a complex global organisation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, execute, and deliver end-to-end audit projects across multiple business units.
    • Identify risks, assess controls, and recommend actionable improvements.

    Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

    About the Role:

    • Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the CFO will oversee key support service departments, including Finance, Human Resources, and Quality & Compliance.
    • This strategic leadership position is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and compliance across the organisation while contributing to its long-term growth and impact.

    Strategic Leadership:

    • Strong understanding of IFRS standards, South African regulatory frameworks, and governance practices.
    • Proven success in financial control, systems optimisation, portfolio risk management, and funder relationship management.
