    Plant Specialist

    Job description

    Role Summary

    The role of the Plant Specialist is responsible for overall site performance, maintenance and recovery of MSC and BSC/Hub sites by liaising with various stakeholders to ensure Network availability and resilience

    Your Responsibilities Will Include:

    Role Summary

    The role of the Project Manager is to implement, project manage and deliver on Vodacom and Vodafone initiated projects for the various business unit portfolios managed by CDM. The Project Manager must focus on both the commercial and technical tasks to ensure the successful delivery within the agreed timelines, scope and quality.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Deliver Vodacom and Vodafone initiated projects for the various business unit portfolios managed by CDM.
    • Perform thorough business impact analysis in order to facilitate and co-ordinate the compilation of project specifications.
    • Identifying the correct business and 3rd party stakeholders to form part of the project’s work streams and steering committees.

    • Collaborate with all relevant groups to ensure correctness of business requirements;
    • Prepare documentation and reports for various levels of Vodacom Management;
    • Conduct regular project meeting with all relevant groups followed up by well documented minutes;
    • Ensure timeous and effective escalation should it be required.
    • The management of project plans, project controls and reporting will be executed on software tools, repositories, and management systems prescribed by the PMO

    The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

    • Relevant 3 year degree/National diploma in Business or Engineering (inclusive of a Project Management component) or related essential
    • NQF level 5 project management qualification accredited by a recognized Project Management institute advantageous

    EHOD: Provisioning

    MAIN PURPOSE

    Manage the Technical configuration function of all customer solution build, activation and provisioning activities in Enterprise Technology in support of Vodacom Business (VB).

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DECISION OWNERSHIP
