Our Continental Africa Region (CAR) Office based in Newtown, Johannesburg requires a suitably qualified and experienced Finance Systems Analyst who will play a specialist support role for the oneERP solution in the Continental Africa Region, with a focus on driving process optimisation and utilisation of the full functionality of the oneERP solution.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The role holder has the following accountabilities and authorities:

• Regional support for users of oneERP Finance and Costing (FICO) functionality
• Project participation during the oneERP rollout to CAR business units
• Post implementation support to ensure quick and painless stabilisation of the new solution.
• Develop a deep understanding of financial processes and systems across all CAR business units
• Identification of gaps in the FICO processes, and assist in development and implementation of best practice process improvements
• Management of specific CAR finance projects to ensure successful design and implementation for mid to long term benefit realisation
• Assist in assessment of existing technology to identify currently underutilised functionalities to enable process improvements and optimisation of systems.
• Assist in development of key performance indicators & reports to measure effectiveness and efficiency of FICO processes
• Identify end user training requirement, and conduct necessary training to ensure business processes run smoothly
• Collaborate closely with system owners (Regional Process Owners) to understand and solve their integration needs and share accountability with them for benefit realization
• OneERP Integration Management for CAR, including data, process, procedural, project and functional integration
• Supports and enables the service Management tools and measures service management across all user bases for all incidents ie. May not own all the oneERP resolver groups but ensures that user constraints or issues are escalated to facilitate prompt resolution.
• Ensure that application risk, security and compliance measures are in place and standards and processes are aligned to global benchmarks

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 5-10 years working experience
• At least 5 years in SAP FICO
• Through at least two SAP Implementations
• Demonstrated ability as a FICO specialist within a SAP System landscape
• Demonstrated ability in business process optimisation leveraging of Information Technology
• Necessary interpersonal skills to influence people and business
• Excellent written, oral communication and report writing skills
• Fluency in English is essential, fluency in French would be an advantage
• Strong analytical and integration skills
• Experience working within the Mining Industry would be advantageous
• Experience working with clients in Africa (outside of South Africa) would be advantageous

REMUNERATION:

Salary will be in accordance with the AngloGold Ashanti Schedule of Salaries.
