    Master Data Consultant

    Job description

    An exciting opportunity exists at RCL FOODS within the Master Data team for a Master Data Consultant, to be based at our collaborative Head Office in Westville.

    The main purpose of this role is to control, audit and validate the integrity of master data across multiple systems and multiple modules with specific reference to compliance with master data processes and rules. The successful incumbent will be responsible for enhancing master data processes and rules as required.

    Minimum Requirements:
    B COM or equivalent qualification, experience working on ERP systems is Essential, Study towards a CA/CMA qualification will be an advantage, 1 - 3 years’ experience in a combination of a multi-functional, multi-divisional production and supply chain environment, Experience of business processes and disciplines with a combination of at least 2 to 3 divisions and/or functions such as financial/management accounting, inventory and materials management, quality control, product costing, data analysis and reporting etc.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Master Data Maintenance and Control:
    • Master data accuracy, synchronisation and integrity,
    • Maintain and refine master data maintenance documentation,
    • Ensure compliance with master data rules, processes and ensure relevant authorisation/approval of all requests,
    • Create master data records and relevant attributes accurately and in accordance with policies, rules and procedures across a broad spectrum of systems and subsidiary ERP solutions - this includes SAP (Rainbow and Vector), MTECH across all modules, MACS (product, customer master data attributes, standard pricing), ADEXA (product hierarchy attributes),
    • Identify potential situations that may impede the successful maintenance of service level agreements in processing master data records/attributes accurately and timeously and implement the necessary contingency measures.
    • Team Coordination:
    • Support and drive the business core values,
    • Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained,
    • Maintain stakeholder satisfaction levels,
    • Collaborate with Business owners to further develop and publish master data rules and processes to support the master database

    HRIS Specialist

    Job description

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the implementation and management of best practice Organisational Management (OM) on SAP HCM, as well as tdrive and enable the effective and accurate utilization of OrgChartNow, HR workflows, Sharepoint, reporting tools and interfaces.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 3 years relevant experience in a HR Information Systems / SAP System function or similar environment,
    • Relevant HR or IT degree or diploma with an Information Systems focus is preferable,
    • Valid Code EB drivers’ licence,

    Knowledge required:

    SAP HCM modules, Data manipulation using LSMW (SAP Maintenance Workbench), Systems analysis skills, Silverlight / AFX Workflow administration and configuration rules, Excel Super-user level, OrgChartNow Super-user level.


    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Organisational Design: Operate as an internal consultant tembedded HR and management in the identification, development, and implementation of OM best practices and associated business processes, Manage the creation and updating of HR information intthe relevant systems and assure the integrity of the data, Evaluate business initiatives tdetermine the appropriate organizational effectiveness interventions needed tmeet organisational goals and facilitate their adoption.
    • End User Support: Understand HR system usage and requirements in order tsupport HR users and employees using HR systems, Resolve any queries related tSAP OM, HR Workflows, HR Team Site or Org Chart Now, including, reassigning, uploading, etc, Ongoing assistance and support with regards SAP PA for the SAP Super-user and T&A Controller, Provide clear problem definition and liaise with necessary I.T. Support and Service Providers tresolve technical issues related tthe respective system.
    • SLA Management and Systems Administration: Manage and resolve any service level support and maintenance items with OrgChartNow including access, functionality, interface, and SAP refresh for OrgChartNow, SharePoint or Workflows, Manage all HR workflows, assist with queries and resolve any problems through troubleshooting and route cause analysis, Maintain templates, load new users and resolve any queries regarding OrgChartNow or new users not picked up on SharePoint with access tTeam Sites
    • HR Systems Project Support: Supports the HRIS and Projects Manager tdevelop business requirements for any HR system development or modifications, Follow through tensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained, Assist with the design and implementation of HR systems and processes on projects, Act as a change agent providing the support and mechanisms timplement major changes tthe operations of the business including Mass Data Uploads
    • Testing UAR, Functionality and SAP Testing.
    • Manpower Planning and Employee Cost Planning: Provides support tLine Managers and HR Business Partners for their annual manpower plan and engages with Line and HRBP on structures and headcount in order tdrive the SAP OM structure component of Employee Cost Planning, Works in live OM structures tconstantly update and provide manpower reports tline managers and HR Business Partners, Updates cost centres on SAP and aligns / allocates any changes arising from the budgeting and employee cost planning process on SAP.

    KPI’s

    • Create and Maintain Organizational Structures on SAP HCM for RCL FOODS on both Sugar and Vector SAP platforms.
    • Providing Project Support for new structures, additions and alterations tstructures, SAP migration / take-on Project and other new projects
    • Managing the Organizational Visualizations Software and HR Workflows / Applications (Employee Photo's, HR Manage, Intranet Team Site and HR Essentials, Payroll Sites)
    • Supporting the implementation of a centralised HR Shared Services Administration Function
    • Provide Budgeting and Manpower Planning support

    Accountabilities

    • Responsible for the analysis and improvement of daily activities associated with various HR processes and programs such as:
      • SAP
      • OrgChartNow
      • Workflows
      • SharePoint
    • Managing data in SAP OM and assistance with SAP PA.
    • Generating reports for Management, IT, and Finance.
    • Continuously seek ways timprove existing processes and programs through the use of technology.
