Key Responsibilities

• Unpack business requirements and translate them into technical documentation and/ or reporting solutions
• Full end-to-end design and development of reporting solutions, i.e.
• Data analysis / profiling
• Data preparation / data blending from various sources
• Stored procedures
• Query performance optimisation
• Frontend design & development
• Quality assurance on all reporting solutions developed
• Support and maintenance of new and existing reporting solutions
• Perform adhoc analysis and present the feedback (internal) in a professional manner
• Explore and recommend emerging technologies and techniques to support / enhance the team’s offering
• Requirements (Qualifications and Experience)
• Grade 12

Desirable

• MS SQL Stack (including SSRS, SSIS)
• Tableau Essentials & Advanced

The ideal candidate would have at least 3-5 years’ experience in:

• SQL 2012 / SQL 2014 / SQL2016
• Tableau / Clickview / PowerBI or similar
• MS Reporting Services – SSRS

Desirable

• Solid experience in the end-to-end delivery of high quality dashboard / reporting solutions
• Some experience in mobile reporting
• Some experience working with AWS products (e.g. Redshift)
• Intermediate – Advanced Excel skills
• Exposure to the Financial Services industry
• Experience working in both a corporate and a start-up environment
