    Senior Java Developer

    Job description

    Requirements

    The Minimum requirements for this position are:

    • 7+ years of professional software development experience
    • Good knowledge of Linux
    • Excellent programming skills in Java
    • Excellent technical communication skills
    • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or relevant experience
    • Preferred Skills The candidate must be able to think algorithmically about problems and come up with solutions that bear in mind performance within the context of a real­time environment.
    • They must be able to not only think about a problem within its local confines but also have the ability to consider its effect on a system as a whole. Those applying should also be self­motivated, eager to learn new technologies and have the ability to work within a team.

    Knowledge of:

    • Application servers (Glassfish, JBoss)
    • Spring, EJB
    • Ant, Ivy
    • Version Control Systems
    • VoIP technologies (Asterisk, SIP, RTP)
    • Advantageous:
    • Actor­based Frameworks
    • Linux Experience highly advantageous
    • Networking
