    DEMAND AND RISK ANALYST: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (FIN 06/17)

    TCOE: R646 676 – R819 700 PER ANNUM REF NO: FIN 06/17

    Requirements:

    • A relevant B degree
    • 5-8 years’ relevant fi nancial demand and risk analysis experience
    • Experience in a Municipal SCM environment is preferred
    • Exceptional data analytical skills using information technology as well as ability to communicate and interpret data into management information is essential
    • Code B driver’s licence.

    Key performance areas:

    • Engaging with line departments to populate and finalise demand plans
    • Providing tactical support to support service delivery
    • Researching information for pricing database
    • Developing demand management database
    • Conducting market research of products and services
    • Conducting supplier industry analysis
    • Coordinating the tender tracking system and analysis thereof
    • Consolidating organisational wide multi-year demand plan
    • Supporting the implementation and enforcement of the SCM Policy and related SCM legislation development and maintenance of demand management standard operating procedures
    • Reporting on demand management activities, exceptions and potential project failure
    • Attending bid meetings
    • Compiling information on risk management
    • Contributing to demand management strategy.
