    Senior Digital Copywriter

    Job description

    Ability to interrogate the brief and strategy in order to produce world-class ideas, craft in design and results on all conventional and unconventional media types for their client/potential client.

    Areas of Responsibility

    Creative

    • To take accountability in ensuring all their creative output consistently meets the highest quality standards.
    • To ensure the creative ethos of the company is continuously upheld.
    • Inspiring all team members to feel a responsibility for good creative work and not just getting the work out.
    • To manage junior creative output to ensure consistency and quality of work delivered.
    • To present creative work internally and externally in a clear, professional and impactful manner.
    • Creative work that is presented is fully thought out solutions rather than options (Including detailed thinking, budgets, and timing.)
    • Work closely with relevant account teams, ensuring effective communication and management of teams’ expectations.
    • Work with account teams to understand the clients’ brand and manage projects in a way that will support the delivery of the brand.
    • Actively encourage and facilitate collaboration within the team and other departments within the agency.

    Business Management

    • Accurate recording of work time.
    • Actively participate in new business pitches and business development when required.
    • Contribute to building a positive team spirit.

    People/Collaboration

    • Disseminate learning through your creative teams.
    • To develop skills and knowledge within yourself through on the job development, active participation in the agency and department (e.g. Disruption, training, and other company meetings)
    • Provide feedback regarding improvements that could be made to the department and agency.
    • Responds promptly to departmental needs/requests for service and assistance.
    • Create clear development plans for yourself and set out to achieve your goals.
    • Has actively supported and involved team members at the appropriate time to resolve issues.
    • Has encouraged all members to look for collaborative ways to make Hunt Lascaris a great place to work.
    • A leader who models the way

    Required Knowledge and Experience

    • 5 years plus as a copy writer in a leading creative agency/company that has generated or can generate and produce world-class ideas and campaign mechanics including through the line integration.

    Required Skills

    • World-class copywriting ability.
    • Technical writing proficiency.
    • Presentation skills.
    • Strategically minded.
    • Diverse writing style. Tone (profound, comedy, epic, poetic, etc…) Format (long and short form)
    • Technical understanding of film & content production, edits, sound, music, voice and direction.

    • Email
    • Online advertising (3rd party display – online & mobile, paid social display, etc...)
    • Optional Extras
    • Influencer, opinion leader, blog site, editorial experience, poetry, After Effects, 3D rendering, illustration, editing, design, songwriter, sound production, artist.
