The Role

Responsibilities

Our client is currently looking for a qualified candidate who will be based in Dubai/UAE and will have the following key responsibilities

• Manage External Audit service line offerings and services across the country.
• Plan and manage the execution of External Audit engagements and teams effectively.
• Lead discussions and present Audit findings with clients.
• Identify and secure new External Audit opportunities as per-agreed targets.
• Manage staff in the External Audit team and provide daily guidance, coaching and develop their knowledge and competencies related to External Audit.

The Candidate

The client is looking for candidates who meet the following specifications:

• having ACCA, CPA, or Chartered Accountant qualification is a must.
• proficiency in English language is a must.
• applications will be considered only from Western/European nationals.
• having 5 to 7 years of extensive External Audit experience in any of the top 10 global Audit firms.
• having experience in managing or supervising a team of External Auditors (at either a Manager or Assistant Manager level) is a must.
• having strong background and understanding of Finance, Accounting and Audit practices and principles.
• having solid knowledge of IFRS and IAS standards and audit procedures.
• having strong working experience with MS Excel specifically in financial analysis, auditing and reporting.
• having strong skills in audit planning, budgeting, project management, team utilization, quality assurance, and time management.
