Porcupine Hills is looking for a couple or individual suited to take on the role of Manager(s) of the guest farm situated on the van der Stel pass just outside of Botrivier. Porcupine Hills makes up the accommodation business part of the exquisite Diepklowe Private Nature Reserve (100km outside of Cape Town), not only a conservation effort, but also a regenerative farm, hiking trails, hosting workshops and promoting education. Applicants should be suited to managing core operational tasks, including managing staff, accommodation bookings, basic bookkeeping, managing housekeeping, communicating effectively with guests, all while maintaining a strong vision for the future of the farm and nature reserve with integrity. 

We are ideally looking for a dynamic couple to take on this full time role. There is comfortable boarding provided on a neighbouring farm, an agreed upon salary and flexible hours which will be dictated according to the season and requirements of the nature of the hospitality industry. The position is available from May 2017 or as soon as agreed upon.

• Manage all interface with guests with high levels of integrity, quality and insight
• Manage guest feedback constructively and with an eye for improvement.
• Manage and control bookings system - ensuring customer queries, communication, payment and bookings made timeously.
• Ensuring staff are directed and engaged in core tasks in a timeous fashion
• Ensuring housekeeping is kept to the highest standard. Where relevant, oversee a maintenance programme that is budgeted and agreed with owners.
• Managing and updating social media and website channels.
