    Manager:Technical Soultions

    Job Description

    • AllLife is currently seeking the skills and experience of a Manager: Technical Solutions to join our top performing IT & Projects division.

    Overview of Role:

    The role of the Manager: Technical Solutions is to ensure the maintenance and ongoing improvement of AllLife’s application and database environments. These responsibilities encompass solution architecture, business analysis, selection and management of development vendors, delivery of changes, quality assessment and testing, and application configuration and bug fixes.

    Overview of Core Responsibilities

    • Solution architecture & business analysis
    • Specifying appropriate technical solutions for the maintenance and improvement of AllLife’s core application and database environments
    • Vendor selection & management
    • Development and maintenance of solid working relationships with a network of pre-approved development vendors
    • Backlog management & delivery
    • Facilitating the ongoing grooming, prioritisation and delivery of approved changes to AllLife’s core application and database environments
    • Quality assessment & testing
    • Ensuring that all changes to AllLife’s application and database environment pass rigorous quality assessment and testing
    • Application configuration
    • Performing configuration changes to AllLife’s application and database environment

    Candidate Profile

    • Grade 12
    • Appropriate tertiary qualification
    • Accredited Development Certification (Application & Web)
    • Working knowledge of .Net, Postgre SQL, Flex, SQL
    • Working knowledge of AGILE, Scrum, and DevOps practices
    • 5 years IT project management experience
