Key Responsibility Areas:

• Attends to organizational arrangement of material, site clearing, testing of equipment and restoration of site on completion.
• Repair property assets, erect signs and any items forming part of the building.
• Request and receive all tools for work resources and keep them in a safe lockable place, utilize all maintenance works and report if lost.
• Attends to electricity maintenance procedures and application for the directorate.
• Performs specific repair applications to defective plumbing.
• Joining broken ends of supporting frames (chairs, tables, etc.) applying wood glue and/or inserting nails and clamping joint ends, allowing to dry prior to removing clamps.

Essential Requirements: 

• Grade 10 or equivalent. 
• Valid motor vehicle driving license. 
• 1 Year relevant experience 

Preferred Requirements: 

• Relevant trade skills certificate. 
• 2 Years relevant experience. 

Special Conditions: 

• Required to work in all weather conditions. Should be contactable after hours should the need arise in case of emergency. 

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be physically and medically capable of carrying out the duties of the post which may involve the lifting and carrying of heavy items and materials. Must be able to use ladders and electrical equipment/tools.

Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
